  1. I have just noticed that Spybot S&D is not listed in CCleaner 2.08. It's installed in the default location and shows up fine in CCleaner 2.05.555
  2. Do you know the reason they are embedded now?
  3. Thanks I will bookmark it maybe that will be updated every release. Still would like to know why it was done though. Is there a benefit in it?
  4. The most recent one in that thread is for 2.07 and we are at 2.08. It doesn't explain why it's embedded now. What was the reason for doing this? I liked it better the other way. It was done a few versions ago but I didn't update for a few so this is the first version I am seeing it in.
  5. What is the reason the winapp.ini is now embedded in the CCleaner exe? How do you look at it if you wanted to see the paths and keys for cleaning or modify it if you want?
  6. This is the first version of CCleaner doing it though so the problem is new. Never had it before.
  7. I don't see them on any of my browsers. Me and Woody are using Sceenshots.cc and they are not showing up. It's a problem on their end and not the first time either. I bet Microsoft bought them and butchered them to
  8. Updated today to the newest CCleaner and noticed that the text in the GUI is not displaying properly for me. I have my settings at 120 DPI and this might be the problem. In the screen shot you will see that the text gets cut off at the end of the lines.
  9. This is the second time now that my pics have disappeared using Screenshots.cc. I think I am done with them.
  10. I have tried so many now I can't keep track. I can tell you this. After Opera, Firefox and Maxthon 1 and 2 there is a big drop off in quality. These 4 are the best out there.
  11. There both very good. The thing with Opera is that it's much faster than Firefox and all it's great features are built in. With Firefox you have to add many extensions to get it even close to Opera's features.
  12. You wouldn't happen to be a blond female with big hooters would you
  13. You give up too easily. I have both Aspell and Ospell installed and working perfectly. Couldn't be without a spell checker
  14. It's in the right click menu. "Check Spelling". You need to install Aspell to the default location and then a dictionary to the default location and Opera will automatically detect it and it will show up in the right click menu.
  15. You can't move tool bars in Opera but you can move everything that's on them to other toolbars. So you won't be able to actually take the tab bar and move it but you can move whats on it to another bar and get what your after. There are a bunch of how to articles for this. Many first time Opera users don't like the tab bar where it is and want it to be like Firefox so there is plenty of info on it. They even have pre made tool bar set ups for you to download.
  16. Opera has User Java Script. There is a script for spell checking and it's the best spell checker I have used. It works great. You can also use Aspell with Opera. If you have Aspell installed Opera detects it automatically. Ospell http://opera.gt500.org/ospell/ Aspell http://www.opera.com/support/tutorials/opera/spellcheck/
  17. I installed Opera 9.5 beta 2 portable today on my USB drive and it is working great. It's not listed on the main page for Opera Portable he lists it in his forum. I set it up in 5 min. Just transferred all my settings over from my desktop version and I was done. Even installed the Ospell JS Spell Checker and it works perfect just as it does on my desktop version. http://my.opera.com/opera-usb/forums/findpost.pl?id=2534993
  18. I did read the article and it's about dial up connections. Your on cable aren't you?
  19. So what was the problem? Opera was trying to connect with dial up?
  20. They probably wear tin foil hats to
  21. What version of Returnil are you using Dennis.
  22. I muse both Sandboxie and Returnil for completely different things though. I use Returnil for testing things out. It virtualizes the operating system into RAM and as long as no reboot is needed I can test any program out and all traces are gone when I finally do reboot. This will help cut down on the inevitable registry bloat and corrupted registry that occurs with installing and uninsatlling programs. I use Sandboxie when I want to use my browser or email or IM client in a isolated way so as not to expose my operating system to any risks. I find it easier to use Sandboxie for this instead of Returnil because no reboot is required to get out of it.
  23. Does Opera work fine after connecting with something else or does it stop working shortly after?
  24. Maybe the problem is Opera is so fast that it appears to be standing still
  25. I don't pay much attention to test like those. They hardly ever resemble what I experience in real life day to day use. Opera 9.5 beta 2 is so much faster than all my other browsers it's very noticeable even on the high speed cable connection I use. I recently started testing out Firefox 3RC1 and it's not nearly as fast as Opera 9.5 beta 2 either.
