  1. I think the people at Flock browser are all flucked up and flipped their flocking minds http://www.download.com/8301-2007_4-9998025-12.html
  2. Or just set Avast to update both the program and definitions automatically.
  3. I am not impressed with FF 3 to be honest. I find it buggy and clunky compared to FF2. It launches slower and loads pages slower and the Google Tool Bar Spell checker does not work properly. I will be stying with FF2 until the bugs are worked out of FF3. Opera is better than FF2 or FF3 any day.
  4. It has very few skins compared to Opera and FireFox. As for restoring the last tabs used when starting both are standard futures in Firefox and Opera. Groups are also like sessions a standard feature in Opera and there a several extensions for it in Firefox. Maxthon is also much more customizable. Sleipnir has some pretty aggressive market share goals that's for sure.
  5. I think Hazelnut uses that browser. I installed it once and tried it out but it didn't do anything I couldn't already do with all the other browsers I had and it didn't come anywhere near the customization that Opera and FireFox have.
  6. You will need more than that. The BartPE disk by itself will not image or recover an image of your system. You need an imaging program to make the image and than put a plugin for that program on the bartPE disk and it to restore the image.

Faststone has a built in Image editor. You can crop, markup, and much more to a pic with it.
  8. NO! That was a Civic or Accord but it was definitely not an S2000. That link I provided in the first post was U.S. Check out the price of the car in the U.S. It starts at $36,000. Now check this out on the Canadian site http://www.honda.ca/HondaCA2006/BuildYourH...000&yr=2008 Starts at $50,000. Same #$cking car!!!! And wait until you pay the idiotic taxes on top of it. I have to go lube up and bend over now like a good little Canadian Our dollar is 1 cent below parity with the U.S. Total BS!!!
  9. No this one http://automobiles.honda.com/s2000/
  10. http://break.com/index/helicopter-fishing-...sport-ever.html Hmm I can see the fish's sword nose ending up some place it shouldn't
  11. Here are some pics of the new Camaro coming out. Not bad. Looks a lot like the newer Mustangs though. Some info there to about it's specs. http://jalopnik.com/398828/production-2010...camaro-revealed http://www.autoblog.com/2008/07/18/2010-ch...amaro-revealed/
  12. I'm liking Avira AntiVir. No complaints. I have not experienced any of the update issues some have. I have it set to auto update at 6.00 PM Eastern Standard Time maybe that has something to do with it.

I much prefer Faststone Image Viewer.
  15. The latest is now August 31,2008. It was Dec 31,2008 now they changed it. This is the official post from the forum. http://freeforum.avg.com/read.php?1,136697,backpage=,sv= These guys are just a bunch of clowns. They changed this date several times now and than contradict it with their adware/scareware pop up BS in the actual program. They are obviously idiots. I have dumped AVG on a couple machines and will be switching over my others soon and won't be returning to AVG again. They can go die with Microsoft as far as I'm concerned.
  16. If you don't want to use the realtime protection why install an AV in the first place. There a many online scanners that will give the on demand scans you want. I would use the realtime protection if I were you that's the whole point of installing an AV app. Unless you are running sandboxed all the time I don't think it's a good idea to shut off the realtime protection.
  17. Bit Defender free does not have a resident shield/guard so all you get is an on demand scanner. If you want that just use their online version. AntiVir is excellent. If you don't want to use it because of it's interface I don't know what to tell you there. It has a clean and intuitive interface. Many programs could take lessons from AntiVir as far as a GUI is concerned. The program is install and forget. The nag screen is so easily disabled. Here is the link for instructions to disable the nag screen. http://www.elitekiller.com/files/disable_antivir_nag.htm As far as not being to open .exe files with Avast or AVG the problem is obviously on your end since multi millions of people use both of those AV apps with no such problem including myself. If my machines would not open .exe using a specific AV app I would find out why. There is something there that needs further looking into.
  18. That won't help with the left over reg entries. Thats probably whats causing AVG 8 to indicate that you still have AVG programs installed
  19. AVG AS is supported until Dec 31,2008 same as AVG AV 7.5.
  20. How are you trying to uninstall AVG 7.5? Using the add/remove programs in Windows is not the proper way. Go to the AVG 7.5 installation folder. Should be C:/Griftsoft. Look for the setup.exe. Double click it. This will start the installation process. It will scan your system set up and recognize that 7.5 is installed. It will give you several options. Select the option to totally remove the program and all settings. Let it do it's thing and 7.5 will be totally removed from your machine. Than install AVG 8 if thats what you want to use. I much prefer AntiVir.
  21. Did you figure this out yet?
  22. I am on that site regularly and I didn't see that. If you were to go to that site without using the link you provided what section is that free offer in?
  23. It seems to be missing there What is the program version? I have mine set to update automatically so I assume I have the most current version.
  24. Right click the tray icon and select VRDB. A menu will show and one of the options is to split to two icons. Select this and you will have two icons in the tray.
  25. They remind me of my home planet far far away from here
