Oh okay. Release notes for v20.0.1 https://www.mozilla....1/releasenotes/ I've noticed that since v20 I can't keep just my browsing history; If it's ticked, it'll also rememeber/keep download history (which I don't need to be remembered). :i Is there some option in about:config to not to keep download history and only the browsing history?

I've been using FileKey1=%AllUsersProfile%\Microsoft\Windows\Power Efficiency Diagnostics|*.* and haven't had any problems yet. MODIFIED ENTRY: Changed name from [DragonAge Updater Logs*] to [Dragon Age: Origins*] and added Detect2 & FileKey2. [Dragon Age: Origins*] Section=Games Detect=HKCU\Software\BioWare\Dragon Age Detect2=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\BioWare\Dragon Age Default=False FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\BioWare\Dragon Age\DA Updater\Logs|*.* FileKey2=%Documents%\BioWare\Dragon Age\Logs|*.*

Nope, I've used them for other purposes.
-
Didn't even know Symantec acquired PC Tools. I've never really used their software (PC Tools), only tried Spyware Doctor (it was highly rated sometime somewhere).
-
I've had Hiren's (and UBCD) on my "toolbox" (USB stick) for a long time now. Mainly used it for reseting Win passwords and restoring/recovering stuff in "offline" mode (like registry).

CCleaner version? Does your PC work fast in other tasks? Do you use Winapp2.ini -file with CCleaner?
-
Btw are you cleaning SSD or HDD?
-
Did you use Secure Deletion (overwrite) and/or Wipe Free Space while you cleaned with CCleaner? How much free space you have on your HDD/SSD (which one you have)? Have you rebooted multiple times after the cleaning (not just once)?

So Detect1=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires* probably doesn't work? I also added Detect3 & FileKey3: [Age of Empires*] Section=Games Detect1=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires* Detect2=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Games\Age of Empires Detect3=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\microsoft games\age of empires 3 Default=False FileKey1=%Documents%\My Games\Age of Mythology|*.txt FileKey2=%Documents%\My Games\Age of Empires 3|*.txt FileKey3=%Documents%\My Games\Age of Empires 3\RM|*.dmp.txt FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires|*.RTF;*.GID FileKey4=%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II|EULA.RTF;EULAx.RTF FileKey5=%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology|*.rtf;*.txt FileKey6=%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III|*.rtf;ESOEULA.TXT ExcludeKey1=FILE|%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology|*Readme.rtf;*Readmex.rtf ExcludeKey2=FILE|%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III|*Readme.rtf;*ReadmeX.rtf;*ReadmeY.rtf RegKey1=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Games\Age of Empires\1.00|Zone RegKey2=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires|Zone RegKey3=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires Expansion\1.0|Zone RegKey4=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires\2.0|Zone RegKey5=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion\1.0|Zone

What's the ExcludeKey1 for? Will there be issues if the entry would just use |*.* (without Exclude)?
-
It's probably a hidden file and in the root of the USB as mentioned before.
-
Usually there is a file called "autorun.inf" in the root of the USB. Check Autorun.inf @Wikipedia.

buzzing sound coming from computer when its turned off
nodles replied to michaelsmith664's topic in Hardware
Probably something to do with your PSU (or motherboard). When did this behavior start? -
You forgot to add FileKey2 to "TeamSpeak 3 Logs". [TeamSpeak 3 Logs*] LangSecRef=3022 Detect=HKCU\Software\TeamSpeak 3 Client Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config\logs|*.* FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\TeamSpeak 3 Client\config\logs|*.*

Yeah probably. I'm using v4.0.93 (RC1).
-
You can make it sort them 1 per line (or anything between 1-9 per line). Edit. After further testing I've unselected/removed hpHosts with HostsMan. HOSTS-file gets too big and there are many sites/servers I'd need to whitelist. I also noticed that SpywareBlaster doesn't touch hosts-file at all. Now I'm using SpyBot and I've selected MVPS Hosts + hpHosts (Ad+Tracking server only) + Peter Lowe's AdServers List + Cameleon + Malware Domain List through HostsMan Sources. The file is now <1MB (960KB) with almost 48K entries.
-
I'm testing the combo now and haven't had any issues yet. Though Piriform's main site/all pics doesn't load (probably) because of s3.amazonaws.com and that can be removed or whitelisted. Also there shouldn't be any duplicates, if I can trust HostsMan.

rridgely & mta you should also check this thread: http://forum.pirifor...showtopic=38148 Talk about similar products; Avast Browser Cleanup Tool, ADWCleaner and JRT.

Does some of you use/merge multiple hosts like mvps + hpHosts? I tried that combo, but it jams my PC/network because I'm using DNS service. I've already tried the tweaks mentioned at MVPS website. Edit. found this http://hosts-file.ne...S-Optimized.zip which is smaller/optimized version of hpHosts, but I can't test it yet. Pretty much useless with HostsMan rearrange option. Edit2. I used the latest (normal) version of MVPS and hpHosts + SpywareBlaster + SpyBot S&D and I used HostsMan to remove all comments & empty lines & rearranged hosts to 9 per line. Now the PC/network seems to work just fine (with 231260 entries & 4,69MB filesize). Edit3. SpyBot (1.6.2) doesn't seem to "like"/know to handle/recognize lines with 9 entries.

CCleaner & OS version? Did you use the Cleaner or Registry section (or both)?

Currently the info can be found in here: https://www.piriform.com/defraggler//download

It's said in here https://www.piriform...ecuva//download

This is not a bug report, but a suggestion (wrong forum area). Which CCleaner version are you using? Winapp2.ini has this entry for Tixati: [Tixati Logs*] LangSecRef=3021 DetectFile=%AppData%\tixati\upnp_diagnostic_log.txt Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\tixati|upnp_diagnostic_log.txt
