ok-the pagefile is smaller :-) but what are these many red colored files? can you show this window? sorted according with the largest files at first?

i think, you should it try-but save your 5 files on an usb drive or so... besides, it does not mean that your have 5 defective files!

if in this folder a single-file with 800 MB or so, delete it C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports

have you manual delete the pagefile.sys? sometimes it still on harddisk... delete unnecessary system restore points? perhaps helps the windows-defragmentation?

I've read that in windows instead of the normal ms defender was an anti-virus defender installed 8.1. can i turn off the virusscanner in defender and use the "normal" defender against malicious programs? (with this avscanner in defender is defender deaktivated throught the installed av-prog.)
