As CTskyfreak said, all the mails of Yahoo! Mail (and of any other webmail system) are saved on the remote server. There is no way for CCleaner to access those data. For the same reason, restore your system would be totally unuseful as well.

I'm a Maxthon user since the MyIE ages The install doesn't affect in any way the Internet Explorer install, doesn't write almost nothing in Windows Registry (just few entries needed for uninstall it), and doesn't spread files all over the system. All needed files are installed in the Maxthon folder.

Or, simply, go to the folder where CCleaner is installed, right click CCleaner.exe and select "Send to Desktop (create shortcut)". Then you can drag&drop that shortcut wherever you like.

I've noticed that many recovered pictures that Windows can't preview, can be perfectly opened and read using some other software (eg. IrfanView). Hope this helps

What i usually do for get CCleaner working on my italian O.S. is: Open winapp in notepad, find and replace what follow: Application Data > Dati Applicazioni Local Settings > Impostazioni Locali This solve almost the 90% of the 'detect applications paths' issue.

What you read in that dialog is not automatically detected by CCleaner. It is simply written in a text file (that is winapp.ini or winapp2.ini, as mentioned before). In my opinion, eg. Yahoo!Messenger or MSN Messenger, or WinZip, or WinRar, are... enough descriptive about what application will be cleaned. Specify program versions there is absolutely pointless, since usually people never install more versions of the same application The whole list of installed applications can be read in other section of CCleaner, that is under Tools > Uninstall

Can't understand what's the advantage hosting an executable. Why not simply put a link to the official download webpage? Usually, when something goes wrong, the first question is: "Where did you download that file?"

Sorry for the stupid question, this is still not clear for me When the analisis of a drive is completed, i get a list of fragmented files. Ok. Then i can: A ) Check all them and click the Defrag button B ) Right click the drive and select 'Defrag Drive' from the right click menu. What's the difference? Answers: A ) Only the checked files will be defragmented B ) The whole drive space will be defragmented C ) There is no difference at all. Thanks in advance
