  1. My comment was for Hazelnut and Andavari, not you
  2. It's light and really fast to install (took 10 seconds on my computer), I don't see why anyone wouldn't download it. You're using a Microsoft OS, but don't want to install a Microsoft framework because you don't trust them ?
  3. Well, try installing SP3. Microsoft will end SP2 support in July
  4. Symantec's Suspicious.Insight means "few people using Norton are using this file". It doesn't mean there's a virus.
  5. Under Options >> Include, you can include folders and choose to delete the folder, too - if that's what you want. I translated using Google Translate, so...
  6. The System Restore Points can take a limited amout of your total disk space - I think it's 15% by default. You can change it somewhere.
  7. This is NOT a temp folder, but a folder for application data. = %Temp% (to be compatible with all versions of Windows).
  8. Chrome wasn't the first browser to separate tabs - Internet Explorer was. I think we can trust Microsoft about security.
  9. I updated my NVIDIA drivers only once - and had a BSOD on next reboot.
  10. Did you click on the big "Download" button on the left of the FileHippo download page ? (Here's the direct link to the image of this ad : http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/...BDIIWRPpTOQY1DY )
  11. Yes, but they haven't fixed it. And since FF doesn't sandbox tabs, the browser crashes. Separate processes are also a good idea for security ; even if one tab is hacked, it - theoretically - can't do any damage to Windows.
  12. Deleting System Restore Points is useless. Simply add C:\System Volume Information\ to Defraggler's Exclude list (you'll have to enable system folders in Windows Explorer's options)
  13. Having a separate process for each tab/plugin is a good thing. http://flashcrash.dempsky.org If you go to this site in Firefox, the browser crashes. If you use IE, only the tab crashes.
  14. The Piriform docs says it is compatible only with Win98 and newer : http://docs.piriform.com/ccleaner/introduc...em-requirements Win95 is really old
  15. Microsoft will end WinXP SP2 support in July. SP3 will not harm your computer, only help protecting it.
  16. If Mozilla didn't get money from Google, they'd die.
  17. If I try to clean IE history, it stays forever trying to delete Index.dat files. Clicking on Cancel button freezes the app for ~30 seconds. If I disable IE history cleaning but enable Index.dat files cleaning, everything's OK. Win7 x64, CCleaner 2.29.1111.

There's a huge ad for a Registry cleaner on the FH CCleaner download page
  19. Start Menu >> Run... >> cmd Then type defrag /?
  20. System Restore points, maybe ? Those are files with random names in C:\System Volume Information\.
  21. The "Show cleanup prompt" string is not on Piriform Translator. It can't be translated. Same thing for "Stop", "Quick Defrag Drive", "Archives", ... I've been complaining since months ago about this, but it still isn't fixed

    FileHippo ads again ?
  23. The command-line Windows defrag has a lot of parameters
