You can proxy, but whats the point? No trace is left on your machine. It's not a essesntial piece of information. Proxying behind a different IP wont change your browsing experience. Why are you worried so much?

System Idle Process is meant to be high. It's the system twiddling it's fingers doing nothing. Here is mine, as Aethec has said, i would change AVG, i have known it to cain CPU and make computers very unresponsive. Just look how many processes it uses. Try something like avast and disable shields you do not requier edit: I use to experience simular problems with one of avast shields "web shield" i think. Id assume AVG has a web shield?

Being a admin on my own forum takes up enough of my own time. We have 11k members. Even though it's an un "moderated" forum as such, We only ever act if illegal images are posted which is extreamly rare. The forum is a million miles away from this one, being a admin on here takes such a different approach. I dont think i could, or would want to do it. Admins here deserve applause

Hello and welcome to the forum. If it is down to a deleted registry entry then being a IT technician i hope you would of/have made a back before fixing? "Is the registry cleaner safe to use?" You should know that deleting an entry can cause issues. Registry cleaning can never be deemed 100% safe to do so. It's always strongly advised that before you delete entrys you should look and know what each one is and be sure it is safe to remove. CCleaner is the safest registry cleaner on the internet. It is very non agresive. I would suggest using a program in the future called ERUNT. makes a registry backup on system startup. Can you get into safe mode? Finally can i ask why was you registry cleaning on a friends computer?

I'm sure that piriforms contract with yahoo would be checked by default. The installation is designed for the first time user to gain maximum first time user experience. It takes less then 10seconds to sort it.

Welcome to the forum. when ccleaner is running if you right click the system tray icon you can select shut down after finish. May i ask why you run WFS and your reasons for why you think it's great? This subject attracts a lot of attention and id like to hear your views before others post what has already been said a thousand times.

So il stop there. You can safely run WFS, There is NO, NO absolutely no benifit. Please dont waste your time doing it. It's pointless. If any one claimed to gain pc performance by running WFS, Then well *Sigh* That would generally be down to them to believe. I cant for the life of me imagine how it would be remotely possible. To answer your last question, why would you need to run recova? Surely if you was missing a file already you would of noticed. Every action you pretty much do increases the chance of windows deleting more files(all ready deleted) My advice to you would be to ignore WFS, and concentrate on ideas to improve over all performance.

Wipe free space confuses many users. It will not gain you any space or increase any pc performance. I am not sure where you have got 12gb of space from? Wipe free space creates a tempory file the size of your HD then deletes it. When files are deleted by windows only the pointer to the file is removed and the space marked as free. Making the file recoverable. Only when the space is needed will windows actually remove the file. By WFS the user can force windows to remove perminently the previous deleted data. A lot of users like my self believe it should be moved to tools. To stop confusion like this. It only really needs to be used if you are selling your computer or worried about sensative data being on the machine. Might be worth in your free time to post some more information up in a new thread and people can suggest ways to help your pc performance. *edit* Aethec beat reply.

I have been a complete 110% a** to some of you for no reason that any of you deserved. If i have upset any one of you over the past few weeks i apologise. I'm sure i have upset more then one person. It's no excuse or a reason to of been the way i have acted over last few weeks, but to try gain some insight into my behavior is because times are very stressful here.
