Any one ever used it? Just the mention of yahoo, browser makes me shudder. But my step mum uses it as her main browser.
I can't be bothered to argue with her that she should not be using it, Probably the main reason why i find 200/300 infections monthly on her machine(I'm not allowed to delete them unless she is there)
Obviously the strain i get from this stupid women (i never liked her lol) has lead me not to care what she does so i dont bother any more.
So because of that i haven't google yahoo browser i was just interested if any of you have heard any bad/good or interesting story's about it

Agree; I've never had any problems with any version (AFAIK!). Haven't moved onto 6 yet.
This basically. I personally never had any thing but superb results using it.

It would be useful to some people. Been suggested a few times so i guess the devs have seen it.
One question though, if you want history to be cleared after every session. Why not use FF private browsing?

I pretty much know nothing about converting ratio or what ever to dvd. But gf wanted to see a dvd last night.
http://www.avitompeg.net/ converted a avi 2 mpeg (free and very easy)
Then just dragged and dropped in explorer, clicked files to copy.
we just got a standard ?50 dvd player. worked fine.

If you are not happy with ccleaners performance. You could try eraser. http://eraser.heidi.ie/
Some users wont use the newer builds, only older versions. So i cant answer that bit about eraser. i'm 5.8.7 which is fairly new.
Eraser will take a lot longer. And using the pc while eraser is running will likely cause the font clusters to become unstable (dont panik) when eraser is finished restart and it will reset it self
when i say about the clusters your web pages might be displayed different.

I like it, but the GUI is bad. Stylish's one is 1000x better, and it does nearly the same thing - except it's JS and not CSS.
I never got on with stylish, Grease monkey is javascript ???? (css, xul)
downfull its all DOMContentLoaded.

When ever you use a new application you are advised to read it's documentation. If you have been using CCleaner for 3 years and only just come across this. Then sorry it is your own fault for not reading up on CCleaner first.

1 Over pass is sufficient any way. As long as the data is truly random.
If you really want to wipe your computer before selling use DBAN.
Tbh the only people who stand a chance at recovery of truly over written data is people with a STM microscope. (I got one in my garage....)
And then they would only likely find "overspilled" data (partial recovery) which im told by a bloke who use to work in data recover has been enough for a conviction (???? his words any way)
But another thing that would interfere with recovery is the data written before and after the sought after data. The microscope can't tell the order in which magnetic moments are created.

No, he wants you to move them to see if the problem persists. Then if it does create short cuts for the time being.
We can only help you if you help your self. So simply by moving these files does the problem persist?
I how ever created 6 6gb files on my desktop and ran ccleaner with desktop short cuts. I could not replicate this error.

First of all, don't use Chrome or Chromium. SRWare Iron is better in every respect. It has none of the privacy concerns and uses the latest version of WebKit.
Read this thread for instructions on how to clean Iron.
But what if the user wants to use chrome?

Have you checked the process is actually stopped in task manager? Some people are finding firefox can take up to 2 minutes to completely dispose of it self
press ctrl-alt-del go to processes and look for firefox.exe
If this is the case i don't know the answer about this but some one else will. Are these flash cookies being left in the cookies tab? (does it even list flash cookies in there....some one will know)
under applications - multimedia is adobe flash checked? (if these are flash cookies)
One of the others will be able to help you more if this dont help.

Hello Sako and welcome to the forum.
All of these have been asked many times before. I' start on the auto update. ccleaner has had over 350million downloads. Can you imagine the cost of the bandwidth for an application that updates monthly? CCleaner is as you know freeware. So not making a direct purchase profit.
All in one, Been asked before. Will it happen? Only piriform can answer this one. I personally would not use it, though others would. I would be much happier them spending there time on updating each application individually rather then a new application that would halt/slow down the others production. This is just MY opinion though.
I personally would not want a regeditor in ccleaner. Simple reasons i like ccleaners un bloated size. Besides what is wrong with msconfig? Simple, easy to access already on my machine.
As for duplicate finder im neither here nor there on the matter. I dont personally bother searching for duplicates..

I think you miss understood Dennis. You only need to make one change. Move all your large files to a folder not on your desktop. Right click each file and in the context menu "create shortcut"
Then move all your new short cuts to the desktop. That way you still have the same direct access to your files as if they was not short cuts.
