Hello Noclue (great name!) and welcome to the forum First off, here is a link to the official CCleaner user guide, have a good read. This is the best download site and the one that says basic build will be fine for you. http://www.CCleaner.com/download/builds.aspx During download you must choose "save" and not "run" from the download box which comes up when you press to download. Choose to download to your desktop as this will make it easy for you to find. Then double click on the installer after download and follow the default options. When everything is running okay you can delete the installer only from your desktop this would not remove the program ( which will be the big red C on your desktop!) Have you rebooted since your problem? Have you tried looking in add/remove programs to see if you can uninstall there (if indeed you have it installed at all)

Just downloaded and had a little play with this http://www.rokario.com/ (choose Lite version) By right-clicking on the black square you can customise how you get your info and how you want the app to look like. Try a download and watch the stats register. Nice for a little play with.

Hello Clair22 and welcome to the forum First, there is no need to pay to have CCleaner, it is totally free. Some people like to make a donation but it is NOT needed in order to have the program. Can I ask where you downloaded it from? Do you get any error messages when you are trying to use it? Here is the offical site http://www.CCleaner.com/download/builds.aspx and the basic build (without the yahoo toolbar) would be a good choice. Just download to your desktop and try it after uninstalling the other one via add and remove in your control panel, if it is listed there, or deleting it from your desktop if it hasn't installed at all.

What was the fix then? You never know it may help another user if you post it

With Shareaza I can download albums.

I've always used DVDShrink just to get the "main" movie. I do this by choosing "re-author" after it does the quick analysis bit, and drag and drop main title onto left-hand side and click backup. Then I burn with Decrypter. I do this as I hate having to sit through all the adverts and previews before you get the the movie

You could also try deleting all your history etc and browser cache it may be full.

I am using opera Anthony. so I 'll do a little test and start another line and start another one til I get to the end of the page and see what happens when I preview and post this. Seems okay as far as I can tell here.

Also what happens when you press the windows key (you know the one with the flag on) and the "R" key together?
