I'll take that as a no then . I've been using Contig with the power defragmenter gui for the last 2 days and it is very effective after running it then running windows defrag and O&O defrag both say I my Hd's do not need defraging. So I think I will remove windows defragmenter after all, thanks for all your help guys .

Has anyone had any experience with Contig? I'm messing around with nLite again trying to remove as much useless windows stuff as possible I was going to remove windows defragmenter and use contig with the Power Defragmenter GUI. Its 398kb and it defrags either single file(s), folder(s), disc drive(s), or power mode which defrags a drive once then does it again straight after to make sure it is defrags completely. I ran O&O defrag and it reported my drive was 20.15% defraged I run Power Defragmenter for a few minutes then run O&O again and it now reported it being 17.47%. It seems very good fast and stable and its very small and does not require installation does anyone use it and does it do the job?

No its not a bug CCleaner will clean your holl system(minus the issues)when you press "Run CCleaner" in the recycling bin context menu. It you open the program you will see a big list of stuff CCleaner will clean, all that is ticked will be cleaned when you press "Run CCleaner". If you wish to keep your your auto from, typed urls etc. then simply untick them with in CCleaner and when you run CCleaner from the context menu they will not be cleared. Then when you wish to clean them just start CCleaner and retick them.

If you wish to keep your Internet explorer typed urls auto form forms etc then simply start CCleaner and untick the box next to the appropriate items. P.S. If i miss understood the question then please just say so.

Yep that app is a life saver as I have said before I install windows on my pc using my custom xp disc made with nlite of which I also use RyanVM's Windows XP Post-SP2 Update Pack to install all the hotfixes but it also installs the unlocker program which is brill it also installs Regmon, Filemon & Process Explorer.

It did not cost as much as you may think I got the Hd's, p4 3.0Ghz & the monitor from my old dell. How much would you expect to pay for my system now? And anyone now a good pci express motherboard?

You could use nlite to remove outlook express as well as other windows apps but it does involve reinstllaing windows to do so. Or try this. or Xplite.

Sorry about being a noob in site building but how does the uploading a site thing work. Am I right in thinking you make your site with a app then it supplies you with a load of stuff which you upload to your host?

Is the app you mentioned free because I don't really want to start spending ? just yet as I do not have a clue what I'm doing. Also if I build a site with that app you mentioned and other smiler ones is it possible to upload to a site which hosts free sites such as yahoo etc. Also do you mined if you supply links to your sites so I can be nosy .

In that case yes, I've been using PageDefrag for quite a while now and it is quick & effective in Defragmenting files which windows defrag cant defrag.

I hate to seem dumb but sysinternals is as far as I know is not a app but a company who make apps. Am I right or just dumb
