  1. I want a dvd-ram drive. You do not need to burn dvd-ram disc's and all dvd drives can play dvd's. I just can't find any good ones.
  2. In CCleaner you will see there is a cleaner & issues button on the right the issues button cleans the system registry. The cleaner button will scan for junk files but also clean the specific registry entries of a specific app i.e. quicktime mru list etc but when CCleaner cleans a specific registry entry to a program it does not list it(Ask mrG why its he's app ). If you are saying the history of a previously opened file still is listed in quicktime after you have cleaned it that is odd. There could be one cause if you are using the latest quicktime 7 apple may have changed the address slightly of the registry files there for CCleaner will not pick it up.
  3. I'm going to get a DVD-Ram drive does anyone know of a any good ones, cheers.
  4. When CCleaner cleans registry entries outside of the specific registry cleaner they are not listed in the to clean list. I think you will find if you open a file in quicktime close it then run CCleaner then run quicktime again the history of the previous file you opened should be gone.
  5. What I really want is to just have windows media player and then instead of another player or a codec pack just the specific codecs that I require. I like to stick to a rule not to have no more then 1 app for a specific task i.e. 2 media players 2 browsers etc. Before I started sticking to that rule my pc had tons of apps all of which done more or less the same thing.
  6. I hate to sound cocky(too late)but because they are unused and there for rubbish.
  7. I have tried vlc before but I prefer windows media player over vlc, thanks anyway.
  8. There is a app called blender it is for 3d modelling etc, not sure if its exactly what you are looking for but here is the link any how.
  9. I use K-Lite codec pack so I can play all manor of media files but it installs so much crap on top of the codecs. So I'm wondering does anyone know what folder if any are the codecs placed so I can then simply install the individual codecs I require, cheers.

They however will not stop us from living our lives , our will to defeat them is stronger then there will to kill us. Hitler could not defeat our morale do they really think they can.
  11. Excuse me but the death count so far is 34 I would prefer if you did not make jokes about it.

  21. Thanks for the reply Andavari but I am aware you can delete backups from within regseeker I'm also aware you pc will go puff if you are not careful with the registry but the point of CCleaner is that it deletes a load of rubbish with a simple click of a button so you do not need to go around the your pc and registry and delete a load of stuff. I'm also just mentioning regseeker as an example, I'm assuming you are aware of the "Only delete file in windows temp folder older then 48 hours" tick box in CCleaner option what I want it that but also the option of 24 hours, 72 hours etc for custom folders. So if you select for a custom folder to be cleaned you can also select for the contents to be cleaned only if they are older then a set date.
  22. Lately I've been using Reg seeker as my registry cleaner and every time it cleans invalid registry entries it creates a backup which is good but after some time the backup registry files build up. I have added the backup folder to CCleaner's "Custom Folders" but clearly I do want the registry backups for a while(a couple of days or so)after which I will remove them but obviously CCleaner just empties the folder every time I run CCleaner. So I'm thinking may be there should be another column next to the address of the folder which you have chosen to clean with a drop down box with some dates i.e. 24 Hours, 48 Hours, 72 Hours etc. you then select one & Cleaner will only remove files that are older then the selected date.
