From with in the program you can download 4 hosts files and update them separately then merge them together it will then block adverts known bad sites, some adware, spyware, torjans etc. It works so good at blocking adverts i have got rid of adblock plus for firefox and still no adverts, Sweet. The best thing is that no program actual runs while the adverts etc are being blocked hostsman is just a manger for the hosts file. It also blocks the above mentioned stuff system wide i.e. all adverts etc blocked from all web browsers .

It sounds like its a good thing that i am not infected in any way and relied on it then. Maybe with future development it will get better.

Check this site out you either post or upload your Hijack This log file and it analyses it automatically and displays the results, very sweet in deed :-)

Same here i hate Hotmail but i have to have a count to use Msn messenger. Im not 100% sure if Google are working on a IM but i did that rumour some months back, fingers crossed same with the Google browser

I believe they should have something to validate windows but to bypass someone disabling it in IE i so out of order because the reason they put that option to disable add ons is so a user can manage add ons and not so a company can just bypass it.

Its looks pretty good but nice to see that those large intrusive adverts are still everywhere however i still prefer Gmail. They are releasing a 2gb version to compete with Gmail hows that when my Gmail account already has 2440 MB of space and still growing. Gmail will still load faster because of no intrusive ads and plane colours and in my opinion superior junk and just general mail handling. Hopefully the rumours of Google working on a instant messenger are true so i can get completely get rid of Msn Messenger and my old hotmail account .

That does not mean its not available to the public unofficialy Edit: I just had a go of IE 7 I think I will stick to firefox Maybe they will get somewhere close to firefox 1.06 when they get to version 10, but then firefox will be one 3 or so so what's the point?

Not sure but IE7 will be very popular with people who don't know better i.e. firefox, so I'm sure there will be updates as soon as it comes out. There maybe compatibility even before it officialy comes out through testing with the Beta version.
