I got a similar message i then cancelled that installation and deleted the folder in which hostsman was installed(you should have already uninstalled) along with the folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\abelhadigital.com there maybe also be one in C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\. Then reinstall and it should work.

Today i received a email from the developer of hostman stating they have implemented the feature i suggested of selecting multiple host files for updates rather then single ones. For those of you interested it can be found here.

I currently have Knoppix installed on a virtual machine but i don't think i will keep it just for the simply fact that my games don't work on it, hardware drivers for printers, scanner etc are more or less non existent. Also i like my windows application i have and most are not available on Linux. I also do not want to run 2 OS but i still have Knoppix so i will carry on using it for some time and maybe i will maybe i wont. You should try here for some Linux Operating systems.

Tarun im not sure if its off course in terms of what type of software you put in the anti malware package but how about adding some sort of anti virus app? Also you could put in some links to on-line scanner such as ewido spyware scanner & trend micro on-line scanner. Oops nearly forgot i voted for the full version as it includes MSAS i don't use it but i cant deny it is a good app and does a brilliant job.

For me Contig by System internals is the best defragmenter by far no fancy menus which you don't need and its free. Download Contig then download Power Defragmenter Gui place them in the same folder and double click power dragmenter. Believe me you will be amazed by the speed. I also had trouble defragmenting some files with both windows defragmenter diskeeper which are now defragged, it also required no installation and only weights in at 550Kb. Contig along with PageDefrag which defrags all of those system files etc which can also be set to run every time windows starts and it only takes like 30 seconds or so. Again its only 100Kb and requires no installation.

A oyster Card is like a season ticket which you top up you can then use it on trains, the underground , trams , the London bus network. You just past it over a little card reader thing on the above transportation systems and that's it. Edit: Wikipedia and its users and writers continue to amaze me there is a complete page on Oyster Cards, im not sure if its a good thing or not but there you go.

When you say "Updated RAM detection to support >2GB." i am assuming your are talking about the information it displays about your computer on the top bar. If so i don't get it because i have 2Gb of ram and since the first time i starting using CCleaner it has always displayed my 2Gb of ram there so how is that a update?

No problem, i did not answer before because Andavari answered. Its a program called Konfabulator just install it and its one of the widgets that comes with the app.

The Free edition, double click the avast icon in the taskbar click web shield then customize then click the url blocking tab. A month or so back i wanted to speed up firefox's loading time up so i got rid of a load of extension's i did not use and i was going to create a little filter that blocked ad's and it worked. But to be truly affective you need to enter a load of url's and and i could not find the file with your url block list so i abandoned the idea. Maybe you can find the file where the url block list is kept then ill give it another go. There is one other problem tho it only blocks url's no advanced filtering of ads can be done so there will most likely still be ads but I'm thinking they will most likely only be google type ad's which i can live with.

I have just bought and install a LG GSA4163 16X DVD Dual Layer R/RW/RAM and it works great the problem of not being able to write DVD's in the latest nero has gone but every time i start my pc it says something like the software is missing or something like that. As i said tho every works great with it so how come it keeps saying it?

Deerpark is just a name they use for beta releases of firefox. For novice users i suggest to use firefox but if you a preview of what's coming up give deerpark a go tho the next version of firefox will be out soon any way.

I think you are thinking about doing something that i tried a few weeks ago which was i was going to use it to block known sites that infect a pc with spyware etc also i was going to use it to block ad servers etc but could not get it working.The thing is it already has a ad and spyware ip range which apart from the screenshot i have not seen working also the ad blocking ip range does not seem to work i mean i do not use adblock plus for fun its just the peerguardian range does not work. You can use wildcards in avast anti virus to block sites. Edit: Does anyone know of app i can type in a url and it displays the ip address for that url. P.S. I know you can find the ip address of a url via the command prompt but i think it is easier to do it via nice little free app

Hay check this out i have been using PeerGuardian for quite a while and use all available ips ranges i.e. ads, p2p, spyware etc and until now i was not sure if there was any point in using all because i did not know if they actualy worked. I think i now have proof check out the below screenshot. PeerGuardian blocked a worm called W32 Gaobot.

rridgely i use Bitcomet to download legal game demo's, trailers and any application sites that support bittorrent. FileRush & 3DGamers both have legal torrents. Also many large applications such as OpenOffice, TheOpenCd & Ultimate Boot Cd have torrent links to download the respective apps. For anyone to say that a torrent application is illegal is for me rather strange you cant blame the means of getting a illegal file for the offence i mean think about it not that i would know but buying weed is illegal but you cant blame the mode of transport people use to go and but it.

I guess it is going to take a while for MrG to implement it then, it sounds like a hard thing to implement even if he is a programmer.
