  1. The New Fireofx 1.5 is to be release today(Tuesday) lets all hopes it goes smoothly.
  2. If you want MrG(the developer) to read your suggestions i suggest you put them in the suggestions section of the forum in the future.
  3. When you got rid of the IE did you also get rid of the IE Engine? because if you did it affects a load of stuff more or less everyone uses weather you actualy use IE or not. With nLite i only removed the IE application not the Engine. So things like html documents , windows update, control panel user accounts etc are still usable if you did remove the Engine as well the mentioned things will not work.
  4. mps69_1999 there has recently been a new release of RK launcher you may want to try it out to see if its sorted out the problems you were having with it. RK Launcher
  5. ObjectDock is another bloat program, the latest version is around 8Mb download and more then likely double that after installation. Rk Launcher is 715Kb download and that's it, uncompress it and a way you go no installation required and it has loads of features. I have used both extensively and RK Launcher the best one by far in my opinion.
  6. Adding on to what Tarun said, Anwar i think you will also find that most anti virus apps are better then norton.
  7. Tarun is just a user like me and you. When you say "I read his replies at 430am, so relax, no big deal" what are you talking about?
  8. You say "you guys are the ones in charge of it" No one on this forum other then MrG the developer of the program in charge of the app. Us lot along with you and other members of the forum simply suggest ideas with the hope he agrees and implements them in future CClceaner versions. On the Exit button i can see how some people likes it but one of the many reasons i like ccleaner is how small it is. It does the job much larger programs only dream they then can do and anything which makes it smaller and cleaner to look at are always a good thing.
  9. I got rid of IE because i have not used it since i got firefox, there were no sites the i used that was not compatible with firefox apart from as you say Windows Update. I now use WindizUpdate and while i sometimes have problems when it install the update i.e. it doesn't. They are downloaded so i just manualy install them which is no problem. The only other thing i used IE for was on-line virus scan but trend micro supports firefox so that's that. I have been without IE for about 4 months now without any problems . I used Nlite and RyanVm'sUpdate pack which integrates all available post sp2 updates straight onto my custom xp installation disk so all available hot fixes are directly integrates into xp.
  10. I don't have IE on my pc so ill think ill keep trying Housecall 6.5 for now. Maybe ill email them if it does not start working soon.
  11. Not sure if its the same app but i use RK Launcher which does the same and i believe it the best task bar replacement app available.
  12. I definitely works with firefox see here its just it has not worked since they update it to 6.5. I googled it and found some posts on the firefox adblock extension so maybe its something to do with that, ill look into it.
  13. I have got something like 200 Dvds and only a few videos mainly home movies and i want to get them on my pc so i can burn them anyone know how i can do this?
  14. Try WebmailCompose it redirects the existing firefox email links to your gmail(and various others)inbox or compose page. I think this is what you are looking for sorry if its not. Some screen shots it also as i said redirects the existing email links in the "email" button. So when i click check mail(see screen shot) it launches gmail.
  15. I get the error message "Warning the HouseCall-Api did not define a native binding" any ideas what's causing this?
  16. Thanks MrG another great update as always, im looking forward to the version with the Secure file deletion tho .
  17. Where are the files that you say are deleted?
  18. What do you mean by it cleans the iso file in emagic logic? a iso file is a disk image.
  19. Its not currently possible, all available commands are in the Beginner's Guide. "VIII. Command-line Parameters CCleaner only supports a few command-line parameters. CCleaner Setup has 1 command-line parameter: /S - This will install CCleaner with the default options. You will not get a setup screen! CCleaner has 2 command-line parameters: /AUTO - Runs the cleaner upon loading and then closes the application. /DEBUG - Runs the program in debug mode, only recommended for advanced users. The command-line parameters can be useful if you don't want to hit the Close/Exit everytime, or if you are having a problem, and need to find out what is crashing CCleaner. To do this, Right Click on the CCleaner shortcut, and then click on Properties. In Target, you should see something like this: "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\ccleaner.exe". Just add the command-line parameter at the end, it should look something like this: "C:\Program Files\CCleaner\ccleaner.exe" /AUTO"
  20. There is now a list of some of the albums which include the xcp protection. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/4441928.stm
  21. rridgely i may be wrong but i don't think he wants to do both, i think he just wants the option for ccleaner to automatically run as shut-down.
