I suppose 2.0.0.4 is installed alright, however 2.0.0.3 was showing up in Add or Remove Programs, I just renamed the entry with CCleaner and never gave it much more thought. No WGA and hate IE:Check Well you need the Genuine Advantage Validation Tool if you want to download stuff on a legit install of Windows from Microsoft. I don't mind validating my copy of Windows. The Notification Tool is what really annoys me. Once I validate my copy I shouldn't have to install that Notification to. That is for people that don't have a legit copy of Windows and is designed to annoy the crap out of them with constant reminders. Whats that have to do with me. What's the difference between cracked software and me giving a copy of a windows cd, but not the product key to someone so that they have to use their own product key. That's one reason to avoid warez. Some people ignore that they're illegal, therefore they will just install it. What makes them stay away is what harmful code is bundled deep in the software.
