today i tried XPize because i've heard some good things about it. so i did and i noticed that it changed my Boot Screen, theme, and a lot of stuff. but all of it sucked because it didnt change any shell icons and the theme was just Royale. so my question is, which program do i need to change it. i've already tried that program by WinCustomize BootSkin but it sucked and made me go into Safe Mode so i could go back to the regular one so that it could boot proparly.

one question. did this start with version 3.0 or earlier?

i'm not using Norton's gay firewall, just the av. anyways i just uninstalled it using CCleaner and an extra utility from symantec.com so that it's fully removed. i checked all the folders so i hope it is. right now ima try getting EZ AntiVirus. will post feedback.

right now i have Norton AV 2004 with a paid subscription. however lately it's been pissing me off. when i try to dl a zip or rar file with Opera, FF, IE, or anything else, it tries to scan the file which makes the program downloading the file not respond. i dont know if this happens with other AVs since i have only used Norton. so my question is, should i stick with Norton or get another AV. also if i plan to get another AV, should i wait for the subscription to end?(it ends 5/13/06)

yeah i already know that my sound card is crap. it was prolly made in 1992 or something. i found out that my soundcard is a crappy adlab one. according to wikipedia, Creative > adlab so yeah. im also gonna open the case so i can look into it. perhaps if i get time, i might steal the floppy drive from my other f***ed up and virus infected computer so i can use floppys. i dont have a floppy drive on this one so yeah. also i found out a messed up but workish idea which makes the sound go in 2 speakers at once.

well. i think i'll try that. i hope i dont break the comp though.

none of this helps. i told you that it's a problem with the sound card and not the computer's configuration. all the wiring and everything is fine but it still produces the same results.

right now i have an issue with my sound card. when i play some music, the music always plays fine but the left speaker sound very lower than the right speaker. i know this is a problem with the sound card because the Balance thing is at the middle everywhere. so...any thoughts?

Kerio also has built-in ad blocking but it sucks if you use BitTorrent or any other software which dls that kind of stuff. @lokoike:isnt that only in the Pro version? i used ZoneAlarm Free one(newest version) and i didnt see an option like that.

oh. my mistake. anyways here's my new desktop. it uses clearONE and playing a very good song . also uses RK Launcher and the Synaptic Terminal Wallpaper.

it's even happened in final releases too. i did put up a suggestion to put the auto-update thing on another Thread(not to be confused with thread) but it never happened.

another question. how do you get clearONE's video window to be in seperate windows? i've been using clearONE for quite some time and i haven't seen that functionality.

CCleaner should have this listed. im using IE Beta 2 Preview and it shows up just fine.

that program is hella evil. when i used it, it stopped Windows Messenger from working completely. the service was on, i reinstalled, i did everything and it never launched. so i have to use Trillian.

<sarcasm>for your next media player, an iRiver H140 is always a nice choice with the RockBox replacement</sarcasm> so basically iPods can cause hearing loss. that's just plain stupid of Apple to do something like that.

i just found a website that had its own mirror for RK Launcher so right now im using it. i have to say that im impressed. it offers pretty much every feature that i use in ObjectDock and it's way smaller. i think ima stick to RK Launcher for now. also the moving to trash thing works edit:also does anyone know if i can change the background of the dock?

i don't think that it's a bug because that's an InputBox Control. IIRC, there isnt a way to change the Text for those Buttons unless Mr.G made his own Windows to do this.

does anyone know of a good Dock program that supports drag/dropping on an application? what i mean by that is, let's say i put a recycle bin on the dock. when i want to delete a file, i just drag it onto the bin and it goes in there. Mac OS X Tiger has this ability but my current dock program(ObjectDock Plus) does not. so anyone know of one that can do this? for windows?
