  1. No surprise, exclude keys are usually added for good reason. Generally a bad idea to remove them from the universal winapp2 file just cos it causes no problems on one persons system.
  2. All working fine here (touch wood)
  3. Glad to see the disabling of unsigned addons being bumped back again as I've still got some that have not yet been through the signing process
  4. Other program's issues, or inadequacies, aren't really winapp2's problem. They are free to maintain a list more appropriate for them instead of copying that made for another program (IMO) I've always been happy to provide entries, and help on this forum, purely to help the community, not for any kind of gratitude. I'm happy I've helped, and know it's appreciated. Obviously different people, different attitudes
  5. Trust me, it's not only the admins that get fed up with people getting pi**y about the file not being updated. It's something that is done by winapp, on a voluntary basis, fitted around school and real life commitments, nothing to do with Piriform and with nothing in return for his time and effort. So when people start whining at the lack of an update it's a pretty crappy way of showing your 'gratitude' for said time and effort. ESPECIALLY as all the entries are HERE, if you're that desperate for any of them, copy them from here to your winapp2 file yourself
  6. Those files aren't specific to Win8 task manager startup tab (as the link suggests) as they are present on my Win7 system (which doesn't have that function). Have you got any reference to their safe deletion, Google is not being very helpful.
  7. Unless I'm going blind, the above is spelt exactly the same as in winapp2, where's the mistake?
  8. Thanks Hazel, can't leave anything lying around these days
  9. Oh and someone stole the letter I from the GUI in the topic title lol
  10. Just downloaded the new version (5.16.5551, Win7) and the registry section results tickbox jumps from the results header to the results window itself after a scan:
  11. Seriously? If I were winapp I'd have quit by now and told people to make their own ruddy file!
  12. I've just spent the last hour trying to find a solution to this, I suspect there isn't one but.... For a while now some people's emojis on Facebook have only displayed the blank box. After finally getting round to investigating I discovered it was a system wide Windows 7 issue (ie not a FB or browser issue). So anyone know a way of getting missing emojis to display?
  13. Is that right? Strange punctuation for a reg entry.
  14. Thanks for that. Though not for the obvious reason. Didn't realising the disabling of unsigned addons had been delayed to FF46, been putting off updating to FF44 (when that was originally due) till my last few unsigned addons became signed. So back up to date now
  15. Then try running CCleaner with winapp2 and see if it does the same, then ask. Otherwise it could be the other programs issue
  16. You miss my point. I'm assuming that is an entry that cleans ALL Aiseesoft Studio software logs and therefore is not necessarily invalid.
  17. No, but Aiseesoft Studio do exist and they make Aiseesoft software.
  18. I use one because I don't like auto updaters. They usually mean having a process running at startup, or in the background, or you open a program to use it and end up delayed cos you get an update notification and have to download and update before you can use it. I also like to check the changelog before updating any program. So I use Sumo updater and update programs when convenient to me (used to use FileHippo updater but it's been worse than useless for a long time now IME)

    SRware Iron

Oh Firefox is still my main browser (hard to ween yourself of all these seemingly essential extensions ), but with the direction Mozilla keep taking it, I'm increasingly looking at my second browser as more of an "on test" future main browser, and Iron simply isn't cutting it for that role.

Thanks for the update notifications on Iron Trium, think I'm one of only a small number still using it as a second browser (though not for much longer, I think it'll be replaced with Vivaldi very soon)
  21. Different programs, different users. And don't think merging entries solely on the basis that they are by the same developer makes sense, let alone increasing the lines of code nine-fold for an entry, just so as to add entries for software the user doesn't even have. In my opinion
