  1. Has the most recent FF version (54) been really laggy and locky uppy for anyone else?
  2. "We don't expect 64-bit Firefox to have any performance improvements over 32-bit"
  3. Don't use either so not a problem (though only a matter of time before developers start dropping support for Win7 - THEN I'll be pissed off)
  4. If it's going it's going, no point delaying it lol. I'll either have to live with the default layout, or finally make the move to Vivaldi that I've been threatening since forever
  5. The end of Classic Theme Restorer. Dreading it
  6. What black hole did 53.0.1 disappear down???
  7. Hadn't we discussed getting rid of the "more" parts of entry names, along with brackets, or was that idea dropped?
  8. Does the 64 bit version behave/work properly with plugins and extensions yet?
  9. Seconded. In the grand scheme of things, winapp2 is an irrelevance. Do what you have to and ignore this place for a couple of weeks, and when you're ready, it'll all still be here when you come back, and the sky won't have fallen in for anyone not having an up to date winapp2 file xx
  10. Nope, using the current version. Had it installed for about a year. I tried deleting it, and it's not recreated on a restart, so no idea when or why it's created/recreated (other than presumably on installation)
  11. There is a cache folder there on mine. Agree with the first removal though, for the reason you gave.
  12. Well it took a couple of days longer than I bet it would, but 52.0.1 update released (though I'll let them off with this minor version update as it's purely a security fix, not the usual bugfix): https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/52.0.1/releasenotes/
  13. Mine had never updated from v16 until I manually updated a couple of weeks when we were discussing it on here and I realised there was a newer version (it normally updates in the background so I never check it). And v16 was still working completely fine then.
  14. Sound like a pain. And exactly the sort of thing that's making me hold off updating, at least till the inevitable 0.1 bugfix release anyway.
  15. I'll give it a week before 52.0.1 is released
  16. That FontCache folder doesn't exist on my Win7 laptop, there are three ~*.dat files just in the local folder though
  17. I never thought about that, knew you'd have good reason to state it, but couldn't find it called that when Googling. I shall be taking your word for it though, not installing v18 just to find out given the potential bugs you mentioned
  18. It's still listed as "Panda Free Antivirus" and "Panda Antivirus Pro" on their site (and download sites). There is "Panda Global Protection" and "Panda Gold Protection" but they are their AV plus Internet Security and other stuff bundled in. Have you go a link to the standalone AV programs being renamed/replaced?
  19. Panda Cloud and Panda AV are the same program, it was merely a name change (I was still calling it Panda Cloud for about a year after the name change, hadn't even noticed!). Not sure at what point they cut off XP definitions though (if at all) EDIT: Oh and the detect key hasn't changed anyway (brain's on a go slow today)
  20. Ah, I never thought of that, just assumed any AVG 2013/14/15 users would have been updated to the most recent version and definitions no longer being available for them. As for removing no longer supported software, that is a separate issue and as I state every time it comes up, I am completely against. Many of us use older, or no longer supported, software because it's the best at what it does, or cos no viable alternative exists. Completely different to software like AV programs which I assumed (perhaps wrongly) become dysfunctional.
  21. Thanks, I did not realise that
  22. In that case, can I propose this as the entry (just the name changed) [Panda Antivirus Logs*] LangSecRef=3024 Detect=HKLM\Software\Panda Security Default=False FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Panda Security\Panda Devices Agent\Logs|*.* FileKey2=%CommonAppData%\Panda Security\Panda Security Protection|*.log FileKey3=%CommonAppData%\Panda Security\PSLogs|*.log Can I also suggest the following are removed: [AVG AntiVirus 2013 More*] [AVG AntiVirus 2014*] [AVG 2015*] (I'm generally against removing old programs, but surely no one's using years out of date AV software?)
  23. I know, that's why I was correcting it Saved me the trouble though Can we not call it just [Panda Antivirus more] or [Panda Antivirus logs]?
  24. Aaaah, there it is. Learned something new So does CCleaner translate that to the other location, or does Windows see them as the same?
