  1. Aaaaah, that explains the mixed up entries I was seeing. I was reading it as red - removed, green - added, white - unchanged I'm guessing nothing can be done about the wall of text that winapp2 downloads as?
  2. I was referring to the changelog link you posted before my post which has this in it: [Stored Media Player Paths*] LangSecRef=3025 Detect=HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows RegKey5=HKCU\Software\Xilisoft\Video Converter Ultimate\Settings|recent_profiles RegKey6=HKCU\Software\Xilisoft\Video Converter Ultimate\Settings\output (Github version is horrendous to view in Notepad when dowloaded btw ) EDIT: Looks like Github is confusing me and I simply don't understand the changelog layout as that is not in the actual file (Once I found an actual way to download winapp2 from Github that is. And that was AFTER I somehow downloaded an old version from there. User friendly it is not )
  3. And a Media Player entry now has Xilisoft lines in it, whilst the Xilisoft entry has been removed Either I'm misunderstanding it or the GitHub idea is going tits up at the mo.
  4. Um, why has the Stardock Fences entry got Steam locations in it??? [Stardock Fences*] LangSecRef=3024 Detect=HKLM\Software\Stardock\Misc\Fences Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files*\Steam\depotcache|*.* FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\Steam\depotcache|*.*
  5. Make that 25 updates between FF40 and 48! https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/48.0.2/releasenotes/
  6. I was referring to the lack of a Samsung folder in your path, perhaps Windows specific path differences (Win7 here). (although on a side point I wasn't aware there was a specific 64bit version, using 64 bit Windows but Magician installer installs to Program Files (x86) by default here)
  7. Are you sure that's not a custom location you chose to install to? I have Magician and it's installed to %ProgramFiles%\Samsung\Samsung Magician like the rest of the original entry too
  8. Anyone remember when Mozilla said there'd be no more minor version updates? (there's been 24 updates between FF40 and 48! )
  9. Using code tags is the best way to post winapp2 entries like that.
  10. Well isn't that a useful entry
  11. I always feel better about my pile of addons when a fellow techy has more than me
  12. Funny you should say that, last night I also discovered two of my "unsigned" addons were showing as unsigned as I'd added their language files to CCleaner, and every time the files were removed the addons would change to unsigned. Found replacements for two of the other unsigned addons, and the remaining one showed as signed after reinstalling from AMO (exact same version!). So have now updated to FF48 with all addons working.
  13. I updated without thinking, noticed 5 of my addons had been disabled, instantly realised why, and reverted straight back to 47.01!
  14. It's finally happened, FF48 disables all unsigned addons
  15. Release notes https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/48.0/releasenotes/
  16. It's working again at the mo, but then I've said that once already and it broke again lol
  17. Yup, seems to be working again now
  18. As the title says. Trying to access the forum on FF at the mo gives the following (just informing in case it's something Piriform need to chase up with Mozilla): Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to forum.piriform.com. The OCSP server suggests trying again later. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_TRY_SERVER_LATER The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

  20. Ah yeah, now you mention it, rings a bell
  21. Already included in: [**Nvidia Graphics Driver Installation Files] LangSecRef=3024 Warning=You will not be able to do an uninstall of your drivers without first reinstalling them. Detect=HKCU\Software\NVIDIA Corporation Default=False FileKey1=%SystemDrive%\Nvidia|*.*|REMOVESELF FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\NVIDIA Corporation\Installer2|*.*|RECURSE Actually, scrap that, seems that entry was removed at some point and only exists still in my winapp2 file. Presumably for good reason, though it clears a good 350Mb every Nvidia update and never caused me a problem, hence it still exists in mine.
  22. Not to me it hasn't, but the last couple of days I'm getting logged out on average every second or third visit
  23. Presume this is why I've been getting randomly logged out the last day or two
  24. As long as you want to learn, you'll never stop learning. DSLRs open up all manner of new methods and possibilities. It'll be huge fun, with regular consternation, but worth every bit of it. If you enjoy photography as a hobby, it's the best purchase you'll ever make Everyone will tell you "learn to go full manual", which is utter tosh/snobbery a lot of the time (unless turning pro is your endpoint). Learn and experiment with the different modes, then once you get your head around the relationship between aperture-shutter-iso, then experiment with full manual mode if you want. But I use aperture priority 90% of the time so I can control the depth of field. Just about the only time I use manual is when doing some astrophotography as it's a must then. There are some great cheat sheets infographics around: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=aperture+shutter&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwis-429vv_MAhVCahoKHTpuAKgQ_AUIBygB&biw=1366&bih=660#tbm=isch&q=photography+cheat+sheet And some great YouTube channels, these are 3 of my favourites: https://www.youtube.com/user/pmcc150/videos https://www.youtube.com/user/photoexposed/videos https://www.youtube.com/user/PhotoGavin/videos This channel also has some good vids (though no longer updated) https://www.youtube.com/user/KentWeakley/videos And a couple of photoshop channels I follow: https://www.youtube.com/user/TipSquirrel/videos https://www.youtube.com/user/IceflowStudios/videos
