  1. Yes, it's inversely proportional. When adding RAM sticks you can reduce PagingFile size. Not to worry about it being undersized cos if your PagingFile is set small, when more space is needed Windows will simply overwrite according to the Least Recently Used page replacement algorithm.
  2. Gurus exdeath and taltamir claim a defragged SSD is just an illusion.
  3. A fragged drive is not urgent or serious. At the most it may slow performance by a miniscule amount -- milliseconds. From reading your map I see no chance of speed loss. After defragging I always have zero fragged files cos I 1. installed Fixit 50463 2. ticked all these boxes 3. run only a file defrag. Excessive defragging is counterproductive. You'll be spending more time defragging than saved, and it will soon fragment again.

What is the name of the file?
  5. To cheer up Nergal, will ask Nicholaus to bring him much Bier . . . Prost!
  6. Determine if the fault is with the sensor or Speccy. Can you get a readout with CoreTemp or OpenHardwareMonitor?
  7. Just monitor your RAM usage with Task Mgr. Set mine to run at startup. You can always let CleanMem keep it lean. I've disabled CleanMem in Task Scheduler, run only manually.
  8. Family, friends, cohorts. Too numerous to count.
  9. Didn't a member post a code fix for that recently? Hazel was on the string, maybe she can find it. Edit: I found it. http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=36220entry217334
  10. My shutdown takes only 8-15 secs cos PagingFile is set at 32-512 MB.
  11. Dunno. You'll soon find out. Paint is my only capture tool. But I also edit with iPiccy and LunaPic. http://ipiccy.com/ed....com/editor http://www.lunapic.com/editor/
  12. I've used it on Vista, but Win7 is not included in system requirements. Try this: while the screen is rolling tap the Print Screen key. Open Paint, paste. Then use FastStone to capture that Paint image (or you could simply use Paint to crop, edit and save your image).
  13. If the shoe fits . . Quack museum.
  14. Ever since installing Fixit 50463 on my pcs, pagefile.sys has not appeared in Defraggler\ File list. Any fragged remnants would be insignificant.
  15. Bugs with sleep and hibernate are common. I disabled autosleep cos it always awakened with a hangover. Control Panel\ Power Options\ Change when the computer sleeps\ Put computer to sleep: Never
  16. Listed here are the image file size results from my test. I prefer .png cos you can edit the image without introducing noise.
  17. exdeath and taltamir claim that a defragged SSD is unobtainable and illusory.
  18. There's an easier way. By installing Fixit 50463 Windows will clear (overwrite) the PagingFile with every shutdown.
