No. That's called offering to trade ... and I don't see MrG doing that.
But even in trade ... people should accept or decline graciously. No one is entitled to another's property.
Freeware is a gift.
The giver offers it on their terms ... and why shouldn't they, it's their property.
The receiver, only has two options ... accept or decline, and in either case, should do so graciously.
Use an external hard drive. You can get a USB 80GB (or bigger) for less than $100. Keep multiple images, replacing them alternately.
With a hard drive, you can run the backup unattended.
Store the drive in a safe place. I keep my 160GB in a firesafe.
I don't know how FireFox stores cookies but this may be related to a common problem with Internet Explorer and this thread may help http://forum.ccleaner.com/index.php?showto...1&hl=cookie
Uninstalling the old version using Add or Remove Programs will leave behind a folder (in this case C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_08 or older) which should be manually deleted.
You didn't say what app provided the power meter so there's a slight chance CCleaner may be partially at fault.
It's possible that your battery may be charging but you are getting a bad status report.
I once had a laptop where the utility that provided enhanced battery information (stupidly) required a file in the temp folder. If you have a similar setup, and you cleared the temp folder ...
If you mean a bunch of registry keys in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management\ARPCache\ I've had that (I think) ever since I started using CCleaner.
"Canned air" is not air at all. It's entirely propellant ... either difluoroethane or tetrafluoroethane. Dust Off is difluoroethane, which should be banned ... this was circulated by our safety officer at work Hazard alert
EDIT: If you use canned air, make sure it's tetrafluoroethane which is non-flammable (but don't inhale the damn stuff).
Most wireless access points have connections for two antennae. If hers does, consider using an omni-directional antenna for general coverage and a directional antenna pointed specifically at the boat dock.
