Select multiple cleaning options
Winapp2.ini replied to mythofechelon's topic in CCleaner Suggestions
His suggestions actually don't pertain explicitly to CCEnhancer, more-so just with large numbers of entires (available in heavily loaded vanilla machines) Agree on the first point, second one I'm not sure I understand. You want to mass-enable/disable all entries at once? You can enable/disable the entire tab at once (Applications/System) by right clicking on the tab, if that helps. -
Notepad++ v6.6.3 bug fixes: Fix SaveAll command hanging issue while session snapshot is enabled. Fix docking error messages displaying due to bad detection of windows version. Fix restoring saved files as unsaved due to SaveAll bug in session snapshot mode. Disable session snapshot while command line argument -nosession is used. Fix bug that backup is not performed (in session snapshot mode) while view is switched from one to another. Fix a bug in NppShell when trying to open many files.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=738797 in-content preferences enabled by default in Firefox 32 a remake of the addons page is planned to match the theme (the HTTP error page was recently redesigned as well)

Mozilla probably wants to nag people into 29+ because support for 28 is over and 29 makes pretty drastic changes to the UI codebase in such a way that bugs on 28 may not even exist in 29. If you want to use something longer term without using Australis, I suggest the ESR http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

are the AVI files backup files or are they something one may wish to keep?

I had a 100mbps line in my dorm room a few years ago at RIT, some rooms had gigabit lines (serviced with symetrical gigabit speeds) That's the life, in so far as internet speeds go. Cablevision (my provider at home) is actually pretty decent, thankfully neither comcast nor TWC operate at all to my knowledge on Long Island

Right click in the Cookies to Keep/Cookies on Computer boxes and a context menu should open that offers Intelligent Scan

They backed it out because it was extremely janky and used a lot of cpu on some machines. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=994954#c11 Electrolysis (e10s) is still pretty far from feature complete, but it's at least somewhat usable if you toggle the setting in about:config. Most addons don't play nicely with it yet though.

Not bad conidering I pay for 15/5. Speedtest usually rates my downstream at 18mbps

Got to step 3 and still not hearing any ambient background noise, please advise.

http://www.noisli.com/ Cool little site, lets you select and mix together various white noise effects

where are the .lock files? CCleaner doesn't scan recursively so if they're not in a scanned location, they wont be deleted. Additionally, if they're in use when CCleaner is run, they wont be deleted.

Ok, will remove them

My 60GB OCZ Vertex 3 is identified as HDD in Defraggler, seems like a mistake to me
-
snapshot backup seems interesting.

Fantastic, I've always enjoyed Dilbert (even the show!)

I was reading this via MozillaZine yesterday, it's pretty interesting and they seem to be working on a way to resolve it (possibly lazily loading the stylesheets from the linked bug) https://hacks.mozilla.org/2014/05/reconciling-mozillas-mission-and-w3c-eme/ https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2014/05/14/drm-and-the-challenge-of-serving-users/ for more reading

Please stop hiding main stream browser in the application tab

PICNIC or an error with the interface between the chair and keyboard -
I'm excellent at deleting cookies, particularly Girl Scout cookies..

That sounds pretty strange. I don't use wireless on my machine, but my motherboard has it integrated (Z-87 Expert) and before disabling the wireless function, I never saw that. Did you try a second cold boot after the restart?

Please stop hiding main stream browser in the application tab
Winapp2.ini replied to dumb's topic in CCleaner Suggestions
Chrome and Firefox are in the Applications tab because they are applications. Internet Explorer is in the System tab because it is a windows subsystem (Trident) Perhaps in the future you should exercise use of the "Analyze" button so that you can see what will be deleted before running the cleaner itself -
is mwad0hks the name of your profile? My [windows] profiles.ini looks like this: [General] StartWithLastProfile=0 [Profile0] Name=default IsRelative=1 Path=Profiles/uwydhqkv.default-1377758612622 Default=1 I imagine the path= should be similar for linux (with your profile name, not my crazy one. I forget what happened to mine that it appended all those numbers)
