I'm not getting it offered yet either, others are reporting the same thing.
It is supposed to be one of those rolled out updates which means it could be a while.
Those with older machines may be last to be offered it (to encourage them to buy a new Win 11 machine
)

What about uninstalling CCleaner, installing the Slim build from here and seeing if that works.
You can just insert your Pro key afterwards under Options..Upgrade to Pro.

Which operating system?
Which antivirus?
Does that error message only happen when you run CCleaner or does it happen whenever you run a command prompt?

I created a new rescue media for v8 (on usb)
Although the rescue media it is compatible with backups made on v7 and v6, I decided to start over again and just left one 'old' backup and then made a new one with v8

When CCleaner says FF needs to close, open your Taskmanager and see what is running that belongs to Firefox.

EDIT... If you have a previous version either v 7 or even v 6, you can install over the top as it deals with everything automatically for you.
Any previous backups will still work.

Are you running the Registry Cleaner part of CCleaner when this error is triggered?

Perhaps (as a test) change your CCleaner language to English and see if it shows the same.
