    VLC 0.9.2

http://filehippo.com/download_vlc/changelog/ Obviously some major changes including fullscreen controller!
  2. Just reading this in ff3, many addons is about 74MB. Portable version btw.
  3. I don't see why some other company won't just create a tivo alternative that just costs a one time fee. Sony or something.
  4. ^I thought eventually M$ would stop releasing updates as sp2 compatible and sp3 would be needed for them. I don't know if I read that somewhere or what...
  5. I'm not familiar with that card but it sounds like ndiswrapper may be needed.
  6. ^ #1,2 and firefox's fails on me for some reason here.
  7. One of my million dollar ideas is a small cheap device that automatically detects when a commercial is on and mutes the audio until the show's back on. It could use several methods to do this including detecting rating information which is not usually sent during ads. It would be configurable and have a USB connection to your computer to download 'rules' for detecting ads. The software for it would be written in some cross platform language for compatibility. I was also the first to think up ice cubes that were gel contained in plastic, so your drink would never be watered down and it would only need to be rinsed and frozen again.
  8. I flied one of those airhogs mini infrared controlled helicopters. Really great but somewhat cheap construction.
  9. As long as it's not Firefox's then it's better.
  10. Try to find some sort of way to contact an admin or something @ friendster and ask them what's up.
  11. I really like some of the new styles for bbclean.

  14. HTML should work fine anywhere unless like Andavari said the site disabled it.
  15. No, you don't need to install any hosts file first if you use Hostsman, it will do it for you as long as you select one or more. By default it includes several popular ones including mvps and hphosts.
  16. Nice, that it's in the preferences now. I use CustomizeGoogle with suggest enabled, but will try it with it disabled.<br /><br />Edit: Just tried it with suggest disabled in CustomizeGoogle and it worked. You do need javascript enabled to use it.
  17. It's neat how some of these stars and such may not even exist anymore but they can be observed for a very long time after. I want a powerful telescope.
  18. I also have tried MS's powertoy one, and I also hated it. If only the apps on one workspace didn't follow in the taskbar. I use bbclean now but would like to know if this is any good and how fast it is.
  19. @YoKenny I didn't even know HostsMan's auto updater had a problem. I just disabled it because of the entries in my firewall log. I thought they were too close. Good to know it's known and not intentional.
  20. * Me: "So what do you think of the Y2K problem?" * My Coach: "The what?" * Me: "The Y-2-K problem. What do you think about it?" * My Coach: "What is Y2K?" * Me: "Y2K, you know, the year 2000 problem?" * My Coach: "Oh yeah, I know something about that." * Me: "So do you think that this is going to be a big problem?" * My Coach: "Of course not! If Bill Gates can write Windows 98 all by himself, then he's going to be able to fix the problem on time."
  21. I use HostsMan along with it's HostsServer.
  22. Yeah Andavari I also had problems with the install versions of firefox 2 and 3. The portable one is much better it seems, lessening things that can go wrong by keeping everything together.I still have 3 installed, but not for long. Edit: DefaultBrowser is what I used to set portable Firefox as default. It's handy.
