TheFiresInTheSky Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 i was looking at firefox and i liked it. i was thinking about switching over from IE to firefox. the problems are all the popups im getting with firefix and the bad downloads. if i try to download something and the internet goes out for like 5 min, the download will say it completed but i didnt even get the whole file. But it has pause/resume functionality for downloads, so it can resume on files, unlike IE which must restart download the whole file. About popups, I don't I ever got one using Firefox. Woody Posted July 22, 2006 Share Posted July 22, 2006 In Firefox.....Tools > Options > Content > Block pop-up windows. Download two extensions..Adblock or Adblock plus, also the Filterset G updater.
