Open the skull of the iron burger?

A bit of translation humor:

I was looking online today for a particular tool that I need a replacement for.

We all know there a some strange translations from Chinese companies on Amazon. - But from these operating instructions can anybody guess what fairly simple tool I was looking at? (There is one slight clue in there).

Quote

Method:
1.Open the skull of the iron burger, not to turn left, the extraction can be used directly. If you let the screw wrench turn to Gary, the shake of the iron head is not connected, it can't work! Then cover the right screw directly pull under it.
2. The product switch is the human body induction switch, the hand hold the handle 5 seconds to start heating, after leaving the handle, the handle will slow down.

PS. I know the Aussies refer to Ned Kelly as 'Tin-head Ned', but I've never heard of 'Iron-head Gary' before and apparently if he shakes his iron head it falls off.

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

No takers then? - It's a soldering iron

Just to show I'm not making it up:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Portable-Electric-Powered-Soldering-Touch/dp/B07MKMBZVG/ref=sr_1_325?dchild=1&keywords=soldering+iron&qid=1607481771&refinements=p_36%3A118658031&rnid=118657031&s=diy&sr=1-325
It's not quite the same translation as I quoted above, I can't find that particular one again, but close enough.

There are numerous Chinese companies selling the same mini soldering iron on Amazon - at prices between £4.50 and £15.
A few of them have the same translation. I guess you pay more for a better translation?

Another, slightly better, translation is:
"Don't rotate when removing the welding head cap! You can unplug directly, otherwise, the loose welding head won't hot!
Sightly touching the metal point on the body of the soldering pen, then the LED light will be lightened up and jop can be started."

Although I've always use a mains powered soldering iron I'm tempted by some of the new generation portable mini soldering irons.
Some of them seem to use the same battery connections (type 510) as certain models of vape pen, which makes sense as vape pen coils have temperatures of around 200-300 degC in use.
As I don't do a lot of soldering these days it would be handy if I could just screw a soldering tip onto one of my old vape pen batteries for occasional quick use.

I've seen some really weird descriptions on Amazon from China. One in particular was for paper towels and including in the title description that it was also "toilet paper", etc., they can have the goofiest and longest descriptions on some things with them seemingly trying to cover all bases. BTW paper towels aren't made for butts no matter what the China manufacturer's claim.

For the record I've just ordered another mains operated soldering iron, I wimped out on the portable but may try a battery one in future.

I wasn't going anywhere near the skull of the iron burger, not even for under a fiver.

The way I used to test the likelihood of machine translation producing nonsense results was to do a round trip from English to the other language and back again.  My favourite one was "anti-virus" which ended up in Chinese as something along the lines of "thing that eats bugs" which then came back to me in English as "frog". 🙄

I found with the one above it  also made a difference if you used the characters for the reverse translation.
I guess that's two or three translations at once, from Chinese characters (traditional or simplified) to Chinese script and then to English.
