Willy2
Apple is annoying its users. (And I thought it was limited to Microsoft). http://www.forbes.com/sites/ewanspence/2015/07/25/apple-music-damaging-reputation/ Then Apple wants to the check balance of one's credit card and based on that info advertisements will be shown for products that one can afford. http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=230392 http://uk.businessinsider.com/apple-patent-for-e-commerce-and-mobile-advertising-system-2015-7?r=US&IR=T System setup: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/gcNzIPEjEb0B2khOOBVCHPc A discussion always stimulates the braincells !!! Take a look around & prove me wrong. Says every society at millenial cusps. No end is nigh, anyone who babbles otherwise is alarmist at the least. Corona
Actually I'm not the least bit alarmist. I just look, observe. I see other economists, politicians, pundits, etc., points of views and they're in that type of mode these days. Nothing new to me. Been done before throughout history many times. I agree with you Nergal.
Willy2
Oh No. When I look at a number of things I come to the conclusion that "the end is nigh" could very well apply to MORE things than one can imagine. Regarding Apple: I DO think Apple realizes that they can run out of buyers one day and are trying to find a new revenu source. Moderators Andavari Posted July 28, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 28, 2015 Regarding Apple: I DO think Apple realizes that they can run out of buyers one day and are trying to find a new revenu source. Then they should lower their prices.
Willy2
Lower prices don't necessarily attrack more buyers. ;-) System setup: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/gcNzIPEjEb0B2khOOBVCHPc A discussion always stimulates the braincells !!! Moderators Nergal Posted July 28, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 28, 2015 Lower prices make a product less of a vanity item, this can be both good and/or bad for a technology company. Apple want to be ever prevalent and lower prices would do that, but they made their name by selling high-end hardware at higher-end prices. Think of lower prices as your neighborhood pub and higher prices as Studio 54. The former is a fine spot where all your friends also come and you'll be leaving with money still in your possession, but, honestly, the beer's a bit flat; the latter is full of celebrities, top shelf liquors and everyone wants in, but, at the end of the night, your wallet is empty and you didn't get much more use from the experience than you would have by going to the pub.
