Stocker360
Guys I need some ideas here! I always feel there is a disconnection between the icons on the desktop and the taskbar, could they be not matching?
Moderators rridgely Posted July 13, 2010 Moderators Share Posted July 13, 2010 Still trying to learn the new OS I just tried the newest ubuntu 2 days ago. I had a lot of problems with it. HD Flash videos were out of sync(audio/video) and it made my system run considerably hotter than it did under windows. On top of that I instantly felt like I was missing a lot of crucial software. This system is no slouch(Athlon II x4, 4gig ram, 5750 vid card) and I felt like I was holding it back with linux. It booted way faster but the performance was otherwise way slower. I originally was thinking of making this system a home theater pc but realized I was better off using media center and my xbox than trying to get myth working which was my original intentions. TeeJay3800
Nothing special, but here's mine. Believe it or not, that's actually XP Pro SP3. I found a really cool Windows 7 theme that looks great! Moderators hazelnut Posted July 25, 2010 Moderators Share Posted July 25, 2010 Looking around for desktops I came across this which I think can be classed as 'busy' About the only thing I can make out is my Sandboxie icon. Ah well... back to what I had before. Winapp2.ini
I guess I'll chip in My 1440x900 display http://omploader.org/vNTJtaw/2010-07-28_143347.png My 1024x768 display http://omploader.org/vNTJtbA/2010-07-28_143349.png Just a windows default, but I think its marvelous. Ever since I upgraded to windows7, I haven't felt the desire to move all my icons to the top right corner as I used to on winxp. Not sure why. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
