What errors are you seeing with WLM. Have you tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it? You need to give us more information before we can help you.

That said, If you "bought" ccleaner from anywhere but here or FileHippo you've been tricked and need to seek repayment.

As stated above ccleaner is (always has been) completly free, fully featured no criple, and any payment is donation.

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Did you click on the big "Download" button on the left of the FileHippo download page ? :(

If FileHippo's ad placements are causing this I seriously think MrG needs to have CCleaner and all Piriform software pulled from that site, but since it isn't my choice I can only recommend it.

It's getting rather ridiculous with all the people who think they've downloaded CCleaner then end up with another product and some are actually paying for it. Like bait and switch really.

I actually have a problem with my Windows Live Movie Maker. It won't uninstall. The way to uninstall it is to uninstall Windows Live Essentials which does not uninstall no matter if I use Windows own uninstallment module or CCleaner.

I love computer maintenance tasks.

Some of my favorite programs:

Wordpad -basic word processing

Notepad - temporary clipboard and basic scripting module

Windows Media Player 12- video, music and online radio player

Windows Media Center - live TV, local FM radio

CCleaner- handy computer maintenance tool

If something fails to work after using the registry cleaner, use SYSTEM RESTORE.
