  1. What an appropriate smilie.

    Obvious spambot.

A blog owner I frequent sometimes posts what spambots send to him.

"Unquestionably think that which you stated. Your preferred justification seemed to be on the internet the simplest factor to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while folks believe about worries that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the best and defined out the complete factor with no having aspect-effects , men and women can get a signal. Will in all probability be back again to get far more. Thank you."

  2. Mudd, the last thing this site will do is give up on you. They'll hunt down your corrupt Reg without mercy. Like the Terminator, they will never, ever stop until you or your PC is DEAD! j/k

This is a Hive site. I'm not a part of it, I'm just a witness. Even those who aren't an integral part of Spyware Hell are incredibly adept at all things Windows.

  3. They wouldn't have "their Flash" they'd simply link you to the Adobe site.

The only thing I can think of is possibly a site might be using a newer recently released beta version of Flash. That happens.

the Disney website was working with Flash before - so there is something wrong now with Flash.

You're gonna have to get tough with the Jonas brothers if you want solutions.

    Or Disney's website itself!

    That's a good possibility.

  4. I don't know off hand however it's an old annoyance when some websites either can't detect that Flash is installed, or more baffling when some request it be updated to the newest version which is already installed.

Ugh that drives me nuts! But that rarely happens to me. If it does I just leave the site and find something else to do. I'm not trusting some unknown site to give me their "Flash".

  5. I got NOD free from a contest once, tried it, and it seemed almost as hoggish as my old Norton AV from the late 90s. I don't care what the comparative test results were at the time, I want smooth & invisible. NOD didn't do that.

If you have Vista or Win 7 (64 bit with at least 6 gigs ram), I suggest Microsoft Security Essentials. They've been fantastic with me so far. And it's free.

Otherwise, get the free version of Avast. They're also excellent.

  6. The only CD EXTRA I ever had was King Crimsons'...I forget the name (Space Vector?) but it has Space Groove 2 on it which I love. (The rest stinks.) The "extra" was video stuff.

I can't stand QuickTime, but unfortunately I need iTunes in order to download certain podcasts. And yes, I can't stand the iTunes app either. All this junk I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole right at my fingertips. Blechh!

  7. I've found that sometimes even empty folders can act the same as shared .dlls or Common Files and removing them could have weird consequences down the road. If you have Vista or 7 with a terabyte-size drive, don't be as unforgiving as when you had a smaller drive with XP. Let the hive grow. Bang your head less.

  8. Blechh. I'm glad I never advanced beyond PS1. Little kids who grew up with PS2 & 3 must be hitting their 20s by now and feeling a bit disenfranchised. Hope & Change leaves a metallic taste in their mouths.

  9. The OP made a joke as to the way to read the Albanian (that's the reference to rosetta stone)

I got that joke, but still, what app were they referring to? What weird parameters do they set outside the free world toward Piriform products?
