  1. Thanks. I turned off auto renew as it would not offer any discount for renewal. Software developers usually offer a generous discount to continue subscribing. Hence my question. In any case I’ve renewed via a code for 40% discount but I’ll wait until the subscription is nearer the end before using the new key.
  2. My subscription is due for renewal this month but so far all the offers to renew want me to upgrade to CCleaner Plus - I have no interest in the other programs. Why isn’t there any upgrade being offered just for CCleaner?
  3. Thanks, although this is only affecting CCleaner. I have a laptop so not using a separate monitor.
  4. Yes, both are selected. The icon shows but after a while disappears but it is not in the hidden icon area.
  5. CCleaner is removing the icon from the notification area again. No settings have been changed. Defender is set as default. Windows 11.
  6. When you uninstall CCleaner are you using Windows own Uninstaller or a third party? I would try uninstalling with Revo Uninstaller free, once the default uninstall has finished you should then scan for leftovers - I use the aggressive scan. Then try installing again. I run Defender & MalwareBytes Premium & CCleaner works fine.
  7. I use this: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5662-reset-notification-area-icons-windows-10-a.html the only downside is that you’ll have to choose the icons you wish to show in the notification area again.
  8. I’m seeing these annoying pop ups/notifications too. While I’m happy to see a deal to extend my current CCleaner subscription I do not wish to purchase any other software as a bundle which means paying more to extend the subscription. Not exactly an offer imo. 50% or more off a 2 year subscription for CCleaner only then yes that is an offer.
  9. If you have an image backup then restore it. If you don’t then try system restore. If this doesn’t work then you’re looking at a clean install of Windows.
  10. That’s the problem with driver update software - each has their own set of criteria for whether a device requires an update or not. I run three different driver update software & each can show updates which the other two don’t.
  11. Deleted the file but those 3 entries are still listed.
  12. Here're the files. DUState.dat DriverUpdaterLib.log setupapi.dev.log
  13. I've run Driver updater & installed these three updates several times & although it shows successful, they reappear. If I scan again immediately after the update nothing is shown but they appear after closing the program & opening it again. I know I can hide/ignore them but I don't know whether they're installed or not. My other driver update software doesn't list any updates for the devices. I suspect this is a bug.
  14. No, this was a few months ago. I contacted support & posted here as well. It was fixed by a later update.
  15. I had the same problem & mine was registered but every time I opened the program I had to enter my key. I would download the latest version, then uninstall the current CCleaner using Revo Uninstaller & running the scan for leftovers after removal. Then install the latest version which you downloaded.
  16. You might have to reinstall the driver via the entry under show hidden devices. Right click device. Choose update driver. Choose ‘browse my computer for drivers’. Choose ‘let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer’. Choose the compatible hardware from the list, then choose next. Choose one of the older drivers from the list shown, then click next. This will then reinstall the driver.
  17. I believe it reverts to the free version so you’d lose all pro features.
  18. All now seems fine but I’m tracking a potential bug since the update. CCleaner no longer automatically updates, when I open the program I’m asked to enter my license details, I do so & then check for updates but it appears that nothing happens - no confirmation popup saying there’s an update or that it’s up to date. The first I know of this is the CCleaner icon is missing from the taskbar/notification area. I’ve clean installed CCleaner using Revo to remove the program completely & will see what happens whenever there’s a new update.
  19. Was the key being sold by a private seller or a store? I’m wondering if the key has already been used so is showing as invalid.
  20. The updater should allow you to roll back the update. Did this not restore audio? Try system restore to see if that fixes the audio. If not then You might have to reinstall the driver: Right click device. Choose update driver. Choose ‘browse my computer for drivers’. Choose ‘let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer’. Choose the compatible hardware from the list, then choose next. This will then reinstall the driver.
  21. I use Macrium Reflect to image my PC daily so any problems after installing drivers I can roll back within 15 minutes.
  22. Great to hear. In my case the problem returned after 5 days after changing to using Defender.
  23. Thanks. I believe I too reported on that thread. I can confirm I’m my case the problem seems to be MalwareBytes being set as the default AV by choosing to register the program under security centre. I’ll keep Defender as the main AV & monitor things.
