  1. Seeing as you de-activated my lisence, I'd like a refund on my purchase please.
  2. Hey Ed, They won't tell you this but if you are using a lifetime key they essentially put you back to a free version, I.e it's not in your head, you paid for a pro lifetime and you're being given a "free" version of the service. They'll stop you from using any other feathures as well like the driver updater with a shady trick that tells you that your wi-fi isn't working. They are basicially giving you the middle finger and trying to get you to re-buy their newer subscription plans. You're being given the shaft, Ed. Sorry.
  3. Hi, I've been a long-time user of this app and software for both phone and windows. I bought it for both. I know businesses/companies like Piriform don't care much if one person goes, but I thought I'd say anyway because of how let down I have felt by the software and the way supporting members have been treated for a while now. I bought a lifetime license, and that should mean it works for a lifetime, most the features no longer work with my license, even the basic cleaning isn't actually a pro version. It seems CCleaner has forced the loyal members into a corner and given them the shaft after they supported them for years, kicked them out and invalidated their lifetime keys. I am also having constant issues trying to get the features to work, the shady way they block people that have a lifetime license with a fake error claiming the internet is not connected is completely wrong and is just another big middle finger to us. I will be switching to IOBit Software for registry cleaning and driver updates etc as they have continued to support their members and have not blocked old ones out. I am sad to see what has come to what was once an amazing company and software. I suggest anyone else that feels this way say how they feel or they'll probably continue to take advantage of you. I'll attach my license just so you know I did make the purchase and mean what I say. I have not edited anything other than to remove the personal details. I'll probably give away my key here later as it's next to useless now.
  4. Thank you - that was a good suggestion but no nothing related to ccleaner in the hosts file either.
  5. So I checked all my firewalls for blocked apps / windows and malwarebytes, no ccleaner is not blocked. Nope not just the driver update the performance optimiser doesn't work either, it scans then goes to a white blank screen. Justout of curiosity I uninstalled malwarebytes but i'm still having the same issues. I don't think they conflict.
  6. Thanks for the reply, I only have windows firewall/defender running and it's all up to date. I have malwarebytes pro aswell but that does not run unless I ask it to. The version I am on is v5.91.9537 (64-bit)
  7. Everytime I want to update my drivers it asks me to connect to the internet when I already am - this leads me into uninstalling ccleaner, reinstalling it and re-activating it. It's getting frustraiting, I paid for this program why doesn't work like it should?
  8. There was a time when I half expected John McAfee to be the founder behind bitcoin. Decided it probably wasn't likely to be him after some research though. He led an interesting life.
