Sandboxie would also be an adult's dream software. Good thing I don't say it to him or he will go crazy to "that" site.

Is it possible to sandbox explorer? it would be really fun to do that

When I try to create a virtual os, it's stuck in loading some hardware like video card. Well anyway is it allowed in this forum to be off-topic sometime? I'm used to be on-topic...

I also tried Virtual PC, but my pc is a 3 year old, 256 ram and 3 GHz HT user which means my virtual OSes or whatever the plural name is spelled won't run correctly. I still play with the files in the sandbox, and wonder why the programmer made the files be placed in a folder instead of a protected and hidden folders like System Restore files. I still stick with Powershadow and play with its strange wave thing when I switch to shadow mode.

I like what PowerShadow does to me, a reboot will get rid of anything I made in the shadow mode, just like DeepFreeze and free too. I'm just forced to use an anti-malware because my bro is angry with new security huhas, he just wants convenience. I played with Sandbox for a couple of hours, and what I like about it is for the more simpler, lighter "virtualization" it provides plus I have the freedom to choose a program to be in a sandbox and the other outside. I'm just a sort of double clicker and rarely bothers to right click except for "Refresh" and "Properties".

I've been playing with it for a while, but I'm annoyed to right click everything then choose to run it in a sandbox. Still a helpful program for experimenting something malicious... or private Probably PowerShadow is enough for me.
  7. At first Dell is preinstalled with "crapware" and now "adware/spyware"? Do they even know marketing? They are eating away the trust (and the performance of the machine) of the people. What are those really planning?
  8. Their parents don't feel how it is being dropped/dumped. What if they're also dropped/dumped back when they're still a child.
  9. I already have the host file. I still see in the website thingy in the status bar "pageads2.googleadsyndication.com" something and I still have to manually block those things.
  10. I'm planning to switch to Opera when SpywareBlaster has plans to support it. I'm worried about those tracking cookies. I'm still trying to use basic Opera functions to act like Adblock. Anyway Softpedia "clearly" described the three browsers correctly, except for some in IE7.
  11. Now I can show my friends what a "real mouse" does! We have big ones running along the floor so it shouldn't be a problem inserting a normal optical mouse
  12. Good thing we don't live in huge stars (not referring to dying stars like giants/supergiants)!
  13. Another scenario where power shadow helps. Though that trojan is pretty scary, good thing I have a windows XP sp2 cd and can reinstall the os without affecting files
  14. My guess is it's an ancient star with different build up comparing to new stars. Too bad they can't be seen in our country . Oh wait, only novas are available in where I live and actually saw one.

Well, a reinstall fixes most problems. I'll try experimenting in making ps portable Ok I changed my mind. I'll just hide the Add/Remove entry then.

So are those entries crucial for ps to run?

Also one question, does power shadow write anything in the registry?
  18. Good thing that bug was taken out or the boy's ear could got anything worst. It's puzzling me, how did that spider got inside a tiny ear canal? Perhaps when it was little?

I can't even open PS. Every time I try to access it will show the error code I posted a while ago. The ones in the wilders is a bit similar but mine is a bit worse. The person there can access ps while mine can't. The only thing that works is the uninstall shortcut Sweet Mercy! 2.8.2 worked on me! I can actually feel my heart beating really hard because I though I had only 0.001% chance of working and of course 99.999% of an error showing. Now I can install any security software I want, without actually installing in the real system. Thanks a lot Humpty! Now I can ditch my AV and use PS+sandboxie+mvps host file+spyware blaster+avg as (on demand scanner, for tracking cookies )+comodo firewall+BOClean+SSM Free. Now I can rest safe and sound.

After browsing in the forums, this is the message what the window ps is showing "error code : 82f37128". I can't access the GUI also because that error thing shows when I try to open the GUI. I used the error-checking, cleaning up of temp files and others (using CCleaner of course), defrag, disable Anti-virus (I also disconnected my pc to the internet for security reasons), reinstall and that error still shows up everytime I attempt to boot into single shadow.

There's no shadow mode showing in the four corners. When I restart... blah blah loading screen then a black screen thing will show whether I want to boot in single shadow mode or windows xp etc. and I chose single shadow. After windows load and now I'm in the desktop a window probably by powershadow will come up with an error thing. I checked the website of the manufacturer of my hard drive but it doesn't say my HD has RAID thing. This program is my only hope for having a free deepfreeze-like program.

Sorry for the ignorance but why is that when I try to use singe shadow mode there's an error message (not found in power shadow's help section thing) and when I try to save a file for example, then revert back to normal boot the file is still there
  23. They are used as uninstallers for windows patches.
  24. Many think they're truly mature, only in on.... bah the heck with it people think they're smart enough to post their illegal creations like cracks and such but they don't know the back side of it. The admins did only what is right yet the people thought it as wrong, what they know and is good for them is right and what is bad or what they don't know is wrong. Selfish ways perhaps (Ok.... I think I got carried away) About myspace, I'm scared of a spyware infecting that site so I'll block it
  25. Good thing I don't live in rich countries whose main language is English and have mini mall things. Somehow he looks like my uncle, only fatter.
