  1. <_<

Ok, but what is wrong with it? Does it install malware or something, or waste a lot of space? I've been using it for a long time and have had no problems with it. Its deffinately better than realplayer and wmp. For music I usually use winamp or recently quintissential player.

btw, does anyone here use winamps stream ripper add on? I love it, I let it run all night and wake up with at least 50-60 good songs.

Quicktime is bloated. Quicktime Alternative is not.

  2. When people buy a dog, they usually name him something like Rover or Bowser. Well I chose to name my dog "Sex". But lately Sex has been a little embarassing to me. I remember one day I took Sex to City Hall to get a license for him. I went up to the clerk and said "I would like to have a license for Sex". He said he would like to have one too. I said "You don't understand, I've had Sex since I was nine years old". He said I must have been quite a kid. Last year they were auditioning dogs for a commercial on dog food. I took Sex to the studio to see if he would get the part. But suddenly Sex started to run off around the studio. I went after him, but the crew manager grabbed my arm and asked what I was doing here. I told him I was hoping to have Sex on TV. He called me a showoff. One day Sex ran out on me in the middle of the night. I went around the neighbourhood looking for him. A cop came and asked what I was doing. I told him I was looking for Sex. My case comes up this Friday...

To sum up the important stuff regarding XBL:

There will be two versions of Xbox Live. Silver is free (everyone gets it), and Gold is a paid subscription, like the current XBL. It looks like Xbox Live will be free on the weekends for everyone; Gold members will get it all the time, obviously. Current Xbox Live accounts will carry over to the 360 and become Gold Xbox Live accounts. Both Gold and Silver members will be able to download demos, trailers, and other content through XBL.

This info seems pretty legit, and some insiders have confirmed that this is indeed a real leak.

  4. what programs you guys use when watching videos...? this include watching video cd (*.dat files)...? anything better than windows media player...?

I generally use WMP 9, DivX Player, or Winamp's Video Player.

  5. True story, I was happy. My girlfriend and I had been dating for over a year, and so we decided to get married. My parents helped us in every way, my friends encouraged me, and my girlfriend? She was a dream! There was only one thing bothering me, very much indeed, and that one thing was her younger sister. My prospective sister-in-law was twenty years of age, wore tight mini skirts and low cut blouses. She would regularly bend down when near me and I got many a pleasant view of her underwear. It had to be deliberate. She never did it when she was near anyone else. One day little sister called and asked me to come over to check the wedding invitations. She was alone when I arrived. She whispered to me that soon I was to be married, and she had feelings and desires for me that she couldn't overcome and didn't really want to overcome. She told me that she wanted to make love to me just once before I got married and committed my life to her sister. I was in total shock and couldn't say a word. She said, "I'm going upstairs to my bedroom, and if you want to go ahead with it just come up and get me." I was stunned. I was frozen in shock as I watched her go up the stairs. When she reached the top she pulled down her panties and threw them down the stairs at me. I stood there for a moment, then turned and went straight to the front door. I opened the door and stepped out of the house. I walked straight towards my car. My future father-in-law was standing outside. With tears in his eyes he hugged me and said, "We are very happy that you have passed our little test. We couldn't ask for a better man for our daughter. Welcome to the family.

"The moral of this story is:"

"Always keep your condoms in your car."

  6. "... in the Folder Options windows control panel look at the File Types tab. Select the HTML Document file type and check that it opens with your preferred web browser."

Pardon my ignorance, but where is the File Types tab? Maybe this will do it for me if I can find it.

I have tried your second suggestion, and that is set up as you suggested.

    Thanks for the help.

Start > Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types tab.

  7. agumon got his screenshot right.

Just click on the active Window, rridgely; then press (and hold) Alt and press PrtScrn. It captures the active window only instead of the full screen.

  8. That's due to a security flaw Mozilla found, they are working on fixing it for the next version. It doesn't affect extensions or themes in anyway.

Yeah, I just found it funny. I've been using 1.0.4 still cause 1.1 has some weird things going on (like centering things)

  9. I read a report comparing many of the different anti-virus programs. Kaspersky was the only to clear 100% of the viruses (AVG did badly, 79% I think). It also didn't slow the computer down as much as most others. Anyone any experience of it?

If it was the "top-ten-antivirus-review" or something like that type website, they accept bribes to have things be the best.

I'm unsure whom has the best ratio, but there are others that do great jobs.

  10. All-clear given after security alert prompts evacuation of White House and U.S. Capitol.

According to reports, a single engine plane flew into restriced airspace. Reporters in the White House were told to get into the basement immediately. "Run, this is no joke, leave the grounds," a U.S. Secret Service agent shouted. An all-clear announcement was issued a few minutes later. No other details of the evacuation were immediately available.

Two F-16 fighter jets scrambled and continued to circle the single engine aircraft. Reports also say that "warning flares" were fired at the plane.
