Are you sure you have removed your old bookmarks and cookies, I also ran CCleaner to be sure. Then come straight to the new forum and log in and the cookie to keep is Forom.piriform.com. After I did all this everything works fine

You need to clear the old cookie and old favourites link, otherwise the redirect screws up the cookie. Once this is done everything works fine

Thanks for the answer, but I think you missed the point. I wasn't doing a comparison, just trying to establish why Recuva only found 14 marked very good but couldn't recover them. By using another program I established the files were recoverable. So, my point RECUVA has a problem recovering jpeg files and/or corupting them in the process. Something I thought the developers would wish to know.

I then ran my usual program SanDisk Rescue Pro 2 It found 100 image files and recovered 98 fully

Installed new version. Scanned a 500mb CF card in drive F. 14 jpeg images found 7 marked as excellent or very good. Tried to recover these to a folder on the C: drive. 7 files appeared various sizes between 1.9mb and 3mb only one could be opened with any of my image viewers. The remainder were just files without any image. So not sure if the files were incorectly labled as very good or the recovery process damaged them.

Right click on task bar in the bottom right corner of box click cutomise select the icon you wish and change status to hide all the time. Job done

Strangely when I looked in options after insalation it was empty, Tried tree view, but now it doesn't offer any information such as file size or if it is recoverable. So I tried 15 .jpg images it found and none recovered. Think I will reserve any further judgement until the finished software is on offer. My main interest is in recovering digital photographs: and at this time I haven't found any to beat Sandisk free program. I am sure that given time this will be a useful program.
