  1. I didn't burn a CD in a while. I did rip a few recently though.
  2. That I tried too to no availability. I tried Googling for it, seems like the undeletable unknown artist of doom syndrome has only happened to me.
  3. That's what I tried beforehand, but Windows Media Player claims it is 0 bytes. I'm not sure if it's actually even exists. As for my taste, I know.
  4. This just appeared a few days ago without any reason that I am aware of. I tried deleting it from the library but it does not work. Any help would be appreciated, even if the problem could be considered benign. The song file is named "0" and everything else is marked as "Unknown" (ie: "Unknown artist, album, etc)

    driver updates

For anyone who does not understand his question, he's looking for an application that looks if any of the drivers on a system is outdated ? la http://www.drivermagician.com/ but freeware.
  6. As far that I am concerned, I only bought Winrar, Adobe Photoshop CS, Guitar Pro, Fraps, Nero 7 Ultimate (won that one in a contest though) and X-Setup. Never found freeware alternatives that did a better job.
  7. Hmm I was never personally a fan of Rush. But that track is quite good instrumentally talking. It seems Rush have taken an extra step in the progressive direction, just too bad I really can't stand the vocals of Geddy Lee. New songs wise, I was quite impressed by Black Sabbath's three new songs that were recorded with Ronnie James Dio. Can't wait to see Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath), Megadeth and Down (Phil Anselmo & Rex Brown of Pantera) on March 26th. And 8 days later I'm seeing G3 live. (Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert). I hope Gilbert brings as his touring drummer Scott Travis of Judas Priest. (who is also in Racer X with Gilbert)
  8. http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/MP3In...ion/970645345/1 They could be disabled but I think I broke the iconhandler when I installed over an existing installation.
  9. Hazelnut this fixed it thanks. Thanks for the reply Andavari as well.
  10. Ok so I installed a program that changed the default .mp3 file icon, however I want my old default icon back. After uninstalling the program, I still get the bloody old icon. Is there any way to revert it back ? I tried registry cleaning, didn't do nothing.
  11. You don't need to install all the previous versions to the one that you want.
  12. Just press the "F-Lock" key at the top left of your keyboard, this fixes it for me at least. CCleaner somewhat disables / enables it randomly...
  13. They have Mercedes-Benz E-Class vehicles over here.

    Major audio issue

What I have in my room (near the computer): - Guitar amp. - Another guitar amp. - Yet another guitar amp. - Television. - 30GB 5th Generation iPod. (mostly always connected to the computer) - Modem. - Wireless webcam. (Logitech Cordless Cam) - Wireless mouse. (Logitech MX900 Bluetooth) - Sony MDR-XD200 headphones. (Usually permanently plugged in) - Wireless keyboard. (Logitech LX700) - Wireless router. (U.S Robotics USR8054 802.11g) - Cordless phone. - VHS player. - DVD player. - Black box for satellite television that looks like a VHS. It's 3:00 AM and I'm not in the mood to check for the english word. - Microphone. - Joystick. Also, my sound has been doing this for a few months. I've just been arsed to fix it. I tried dozens of drivers. Realtek release 3.88 (that's when Realtek drivers started going bad, the problem was rare with them) nVIDIA Audio drivers 6.86 release drivers = problem nVIDIA Audio drivers before 6.86 release drivers = problem Oh and the problem usually only happens in games, I just listened during 2 hours to Judas Priest and all went smooth. :/

I have Altec Lansing VS2120 speakers and use headphones sometimes. My mobo is a ASUS A8N-SLI.
  18. Dear Sir/Madam, I have been experiencing a major sound problem since a few months. After a few minutes of gameplay in any computer game, I start getting scratchy and distorted noise. I don't get this problem when I listen to music or watch a video. It does not stop unless I reboot the computer. My computer is: AMD64 Clawhammer core 3500+ @ 2,2 ghz 1024mb Kingston (512x2) Dual-channel DDR400 PC3200 Gigabyte nVIDIA 6800GT 256mb GDDR3 120GB Western Digital 8mb cache. All latest Nforce 4 drivers, Forceware drivers, Direct X 9.0c releases and miscellaneous drivers. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers to no availability. Feel free to ask for any additional information. I use the latest Nforce audio drivers that were included in the recent Nforce 4 6.86 release. DxDiag:
  19. I did a system restore. Works fine now.
  20. My favourite is GrabCaptureScreen. http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/GrabC...en/1100749654/1
  21. Because ? If you can't prove God's existance, I don't need prove his non-existance. Some random asteroid that had molecules in it that could adapt to earth's climate. Actually we are very near to be able to create human organisms and life does come from molecules or you're contradicting your very own existence. Yes and it's called Agnotism. It claims the existence of a supreme divine entity. Lie #1. The bible is full of vague metaphors and is open for interpretation by anyone, anytime, anywhere. There is no way to prove its existence neither. If you can't prove its existence, there is no need to prove its non-existence.
  22. Reminds me that I should get a 500 GB. My 120GB doesn't cut it off anymore.
  23. It just did. My organs will go to science, my brain to a museum and the rest will be cremated. We evolved from molecules and are far from being inanimate objects. Here's an interesting question: Who created God Ans: men.
  24. Planet Earth's creation was the follow-up of the Big Bang. God is dead. Common sense and science killed him.
