  10. Welcome to the forums This is happening because you are using a storage device such as a CD-R that cannot be written to. You may want to consider a flash drive or a CD-RW. Or you can just stick with the issues
  11. welcome to the forums http://support.microsoft.com/kb/164501 I think there are just keys in the registry which point to a DLL. If the DLL is missing, CC marks it as a missing shared DLL. DLLs are often left behind when uninstalling a program because they could be used for more than one program so the uninstaller doesnt delete them. It is okay to delete most if not all of these missing DLLs. This is just what I think so dont take me up on my word -aaron
  12. welcome to the forums cartin could you please explain a little more what your looking for? are you asking that ccleaner should erase the hotfix uninstallers?

  18. welcome to the forums gramps ccleaner is a very trust worthy program. everyone here will say that. theres an analyze button so you can run that and see what it will delete before it actually deletes it!
  19. welcome to the forums michele have you tried running it in safe mode? to get to safe mode, continually press F8 while booting up.
  20. welcome to the forums make sure you have that option checked to delete cookies. then go to ccleaners settings and theres something that says only delete cookies older than 48 hrs. uncheck that and it should start working fine
