Awesome, suggestion, I think you should add a link that says support forums or something like that on recuva.com
Will there be a seperate forum for recuva at recuva.com?
at the link
Whats that all about?
I'm going to try it out and see what I come up with.
EDIT: tried it out and I can't get it set up right for some reason.
How do I run something like this without having to install and set up stuff on the other PC?
If that's not possible, how can I just give them a packet to install that sets everything up?
Does VNC do that?
I'm looking for a program (freeware highly preffered) that I can install and send somebody a "packet" that they run and they accept so that I could control the PC.
I'm looking for it for a few of my family members and friends.
Anyone heard of such a thing?
Friends got an extra HD and it's being detected as a removable device.
He never unplugs it or anything but the icon to remove the hardware mysteriously appears and disappears.
Is there any way to just HIDE it?
When I opened it, I decided to plug my flash drive in and try it.
It didn't auto-find it.
I had to close the program and re-open it.
Also, why show the unrecoverable files?
After all, they are...unrecoverable.

This is the error that I am getting when trying to run several programs.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
EDIT: I have also tried uninstalling, running CCleaner, rebooting, then reinstalling and it still pops up.
Also, heres the event viewer log.
Yup, I tried it.
It's pretty nice, blogs down the PC a bit but it's not like I'm going to be using it every day.
I'm thinking about adding a video part to my website with tutorials on how to do stuff.
I'm looking for software so if im using a program or something, and want to show someone else how to do something, I can run a program that video tapes the screen.
Anyone know of any?
Freeware preferred..
I have spybot resident, it's supposed to stop stuff from adding itself to the startup menu but it doesn't do a good job of that and it's too bloated.
Any other good free alternatives?
Neither didn't work.
I posted at winamp's site and they told me about a thread that worked.

Thanks for trying
When I pause winamp for a second then press play to resume, all I get is static.
I have to press next for it to continue to play normally as it did.
I have also tried reinstalling it but with no luck.
