You are 100% correct JD. I ran a quick malware scan using Malwarebytes and it confirmed RegTidy 2009 to be rogue software. I performed a complete uninstall. Hmm...the only software I selected so far from the Giveaway of the Day turned out to be rogue.

A couple of weeks ago, both my wife and I were very sick with the flu - not Swine Flu but a regular flu. It lasted about 1 week. Next week we are both getting the Swine Flu vaccine. Hope you feel better soon ident. Try some hot water with lemon and honey, as well as Chicken Noodle soup - it helped to make us feel better when we were sick.

Thank you Hazel for the news of this update. I have had this program installed for some time and silly me, I had forgotten about it. When I downloaded Karen's Replicator some time ago it had good reviews, I assume the same is true today. Do you use it on a regular basis?

In my opinion Joanie, Firefox is much much better than any IE version. You are correct - "Mozilla" is the name of the company and "Firefox" is the name of the browser. You should never uninstall IE. Microsoft has cleverly (clever for them, not for users) integrated IE into Windows; therefore your Windows operating system will not function properly without IE. But many users (including myself) had severe problems with IE 8 and had to uninstall it and go back to IE 7.

Thank you Hazel, as per that post I was able to fix the problem by deleting the cookie to My MSN and signing back in. I used CCleaner to delete the cookie but first had to move it from the exclude list. After signing back into My MSN I put the cookie back on the exclude list in CCLeaner. I tried a couple of times and now there is no problem with the page. Weird how a cookie can cause a problem like that, I guess it was corrupted somehow.

Yes, I guess I do - just don't care because I don't use MSN as my home page.

My wife's My MSN (i.e. her home page) is now not displayed correctly when she uses Firefox. It used to be OK but not recently. The page is displayed as a blank. Has anyone had the same problem?
