  1. Nergal means Session under Chrome in CCleaner.
  2. Please post in the other thread you have . https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/62286-new-update-of-ccleaner-deleted-all-my-passwords/
  3. That's great news @MaximTV You worked really hard on this and got a great result. Well done
  4. I gather you have once again reached your posting limit for the day. Have you ever used Windows Repair by Tweaking.com? I was just wondering if it would reset the WMI https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/60445-speccy-malfunction/#comment-328976 https://www.tweaking.com/content/page/windows_repair_all_in_one.html
  5. Probably i you are a software dev!! Speccy uses WMI to pull a lot of the info it shows.
  6. @MaximTV Interesting read that involves the role WMI plays. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/13615203/check-for-third-party-firewalls-on-a-machine (just in case you haven't done enough reading lately !!)
  7. 5.90 is released now. Perhaps you would like to check the text fix. https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/builds
  8. If you go (carefully) to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and expand the uninstall list, do you see anything in the list K related? The number ones you can see what they are by clicking on them.
  9. I was just hoping a full restart might confuse Speccy and stop it telling lies
  10. @MaximTV Just checking that you have done a full Restart of your machine today (not shutdown) since doing some of the things above.
  11. @MaximTV Have a quick look in Settings..Network and Internet....Status (on left side of page)...Change Adapter options. If you then right-click on your connection and select properties, nothing Kasper is listed there is it? (scroll down list if need be)
  12. I understand you are having a problem posting at the moment on the forum. Have a look here in the Firewall bit... what does it say? https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/113091-view-security-providers-windows-security-app-windows-10-a.html
  13. @MaximTV As regards the Firewall bit, I haven't had time to look around but perhaps this may help (cannot do any harm anyway I don't think) https://www.digitalcitizen.life/restore-windows-firewall-defaults/ Or this https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/165764-how-reset-windows-security-app-windows-10-a.html
  14. Thank goodness for that, my brain was becoming fried You never gave up and it paid off
  15. Clutching at straws .. https://support.cloudradial.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049084271-Removing-Old-Antivirus-Listings-from-Security-Center
  16. So running CCleaner registry Cleaner shows no results left for Kaspersky ? No folder in Program Files or Program Files(86) or ProgramData ? Any other users on the machine? Was the machine already on Win 10 when you installed Kaspersky ? Perhaps use Everything from VoidTools which would show any Kaspersky files left over. https://www.voidtools.com
  17. No problem kinzoo. Good to hear you are sorted now
  18. @thoste Just throwing a few ideas out there, may not help, but you never know it may trigger a lightbulb moment https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/59830-defraggler-boot-time-defrag-how-to-see-status/ https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/30678-defraggler-boot-time-defrag-doesnt-start-on-windows-7-pro/#comment-186230 https://support.piriform.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048672371-Boot-Time-Defrag-with-Defraggler
  19. @MaximTV What about under HKEY_LOCAL _MACHINE /Software? Something KAV related exists on your machine that Speccy sees. I'm sure you looked under all the appdata stuff?
  20. You could always try again running the latest KAV remover here (10th Feb) https://support.kaspersky.com/common/uninstall/1464 Also look in the registry as shown here (carefully !!) https://www.technipages.com/how-do-i-completely-remove-kaspersky-from-pc
  21. @MaximTV If you open Windows Taskmanager and click on the Details tab along the top of the window, does it show Kaspersky listed anywhere? Open Windows Security Centre shield by clicking on it in your taskbar, and then click on Virus and Treat Protection. Who does it say is in charge?
  22. https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/62151-ccleaner-589-does-not-put-crlf-at-the-end-of-lines-to-be-fixed-in-590/#comment-334569
  23. To be fixed in next build. See here. https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/62151-ccleaner-589-does-not-put-crlf-at-the-end-of-lines-to-be-fixed-in-590/#comment-334569
  24. Perhaps your user profile is corrupt. Are you able (as a test) to make a new administrator user account on the machine? Boot into the new user and see if you are then able to install CCleaner. If that does nothing, you can just boot into your usual admin account and delete the new user from Accounts.
