Moderators nukecad Posted April 15 Moderators Share Posted April 15 I suspect that was/is advertising spam, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt. It's new and AFAIK the Windows version is still in Beta so unlikely to be included in the standard CCleaner until it is much more established and in common use. If you know, or can find, where it is saving history/caches then you can make them 'Includes' in Custom Clean. *** Out of Beer Error ->->-> Recovering Memory *** Worried about 'Tracking Files'? Worried about why some files come back after cleaning? Moderators Andavari Posted April 15 Moderators Share Posted April 15 If it's a Chrome/Chromium based browser look to see if it's in the community Winapp2.ini - https://community.ccleaner.com/topic/32310-winapp2ini-additions/ If it isn't in Winapp2.ini, and if you know where to find where the files are stored you can modify a pre-existing Winapp2.ini entry to clean it. Note: If you go that route it's highly recommended that you backup (copy to another folder, or ZIP) your web browser profile before cleaning it, that way any issues that can or may arise can be quickly and very easily undone.
