Moderators mta Posted August 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2013 blame the kids, that's what I do. (usually the truth anyway) when my son was about 4yo, we ejected the tape from the VHS (remember them!!!) but instead of a cassette, a half eating peanut butter sandwich came out. had to laugh. Backup now & backup often. It's your digital life - protect it with a backup.Three things are certain; Birth, Death and loss of data. You control the last. Moderators Andavari Posted August 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2013 (don't ask how it got there, I haven't a clue) You're lucky it didn't damage the printer. You mention eating toast every now and then, so let me pre-warn you; don't cook toast on the hot innards of the computer. This reminds me of a site that listed old computer support calls and questions about some guy who used his CD-ROM tray as a coffee mug holder which eventually broke and he called customer support to find out how to fix the coffee holder in his computer.
