The entry [Avira Logs*] is a repeat of the winapp.ini entry [AntiVir Desktop] except that [Avira Logs*] contains some GmbH code.

[Avira Logs*]
LangSecRef=3024
Detect=HKLM\Software\Avira
Default=False
FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Avira|*.log|RECURSE
FileKey2=%ProgramFiles%\Avira|*.log|RECURSE
FileKey3=%ProgramFiles%\Avira GmbH|*.log|RECURSE

FileKey5=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\Program Files*\Avira GmbH|*.log|RECURSE
FileKey6=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Avira|*.log|RECURSE

I'm thinking that [Avira Logs*] should be changed to [Avira GmbH Logs*] so that non GmbH users do not have duplicate entries showing up in the Applications tab.  I'm not certain that the "Detect" as shown below is correct.  Perhaps an Avira GmbH user can verify?

New one for testing. Not sure if it should be merged with [skype Temp*] or pick n' choose entries to put into Skype Temp*.

The .db-journals are just temps of the .db files, Most the time they self-destruct when you quit skype

media_messaging is cached group chat avatars and for whatever reason remakes the same image everytime skype opens.

DataRv contains offline storage.

Edited: Split up FileKey6 media_messaging into 3 seperate keys.

you didn't notice that one had \VirtualStore\ - but I do agree at least one path is entirely wrong....

I have found these on my PC:

C:\ProgramData\Mozilla\logs

That is the only one that has "*\Mozilla\logs"

Went through Winapp2 today. Found somethings for you guys.

Remove entry:

[Jetclean Registry Backups*]
LangSecRef=3024
DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\BlueSprig\JetClean\JetClean.exe
Warning=Deleting the backups will result in you being unable to undo any changes by Jetclean. Be sure you are okay with removing the backups!
FileKey1=%AppData%\BlueSprig\JetClean\Backup|*.reg

Remove entry because it is a registry backup.

Reorganized these entries:

[blueStacks Setup*]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect1=HKCU\Software\Bluestacks
Detect2=HKLM\Software\Bluestacks
Warning=You will have to redownload these files in order to reinstall the application.

FileKey10=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Microsoft\Microsoft antimalware\scans\history\results\System|*.*|REMOVESELF

The warnings were misorganized comparing to the other entries.

This next set is more like a suggestion. I was looking through some of the warnings and the ones I have listed below are a bit unneeded/unnesscary and I think the warnings should just be removed.

[bumpTop StickyNotes*]
LangSecRef=3021
Detect=HKCU\Software\Bump Technologies, Inc.

FileKey1=%UserProfile%\Desktop|StickyNote*.txt

[Farming Simulator Old Autosaves*]

[Miranda IM Chat Log*]
LangSecRef=3022
Warning=This will delete your chat logs!
DetectFile=%ProgramFiles%\Miranda IM
FileKey1=%AppData%\Miranda\Profiles\*\Logs\Chat|*.*|REMOVESELF

It is just my opinion, though.

Lastly, because of the issue with the mozilla maintenance logs under firefox, the same would go for thunderbird, as well, and any other program that runs the mozilla maintenance logs.

[Thunderbird Maintenance Service*]
LangSecRef=3030
SpecialDetect=DET_THUNDERBIRD
FileKey1=%CommonAppData%\Mozilla*\logs|*.*|REMOVESELF
FileKey2=%LocalAppData%\VirtualStore\ProgramData\Mozilla*\logs|*.*|REMOVESELF

Microsoft rebranded all their Bing apps to MSN recently. All the Detects are the same but should they be ranamed to MSN Maps, MSN News, MSN Health etc. etc. Or just Maps, News, Health or or leave them as is?

They look good but are missing the "Default=False"

Thank you Coffee4Joe. I actually didn't create any of them. I pulled them from Winapp2 and they were as is.

i don't think so

search for them in my winapp2.ini show all got their Default=False

and about removing warning, i disagree on all of the entries except [Farming Simulator Old Autosaves*]

but people might come here to ask whether the entries will delete the recent saved game so i prefer not to change it

plus you only get the warning once

I have another issue. I had uninstalled Thunderbird completely about a moneth ago, but it is still showing entires for Thunderbird in my cleaner. I have looked in appdata, programfiles, programdata, and in the registry for any traces of leftover thunderbirds entries, but have found nothing. Any clue why these entries would still be showing?
