Moderators Andavari Posted February 1, 2009 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2009 The IT Crowd was an awesome show, but, alas, I do not care much for Cradle of Filth. My younger brother is into them, but I don't find much pleasure in that particular style of music. Having my own band I'll guess I'll be a critic, I've never liked the lead vocals in Cradle of Filth, and every track I've ever heard I often think what if someone else was singing the song. Instrumentally they're however very tight!
DJpailo
I must admit I've grown on Howard Shore's music to the first Lord of the Rings. http://www.lavasoftusa.com http://wiki.lunarsof.../PC_Maintenance

Moderators DennisD Posted February 2, 2009 Moderators Share Posted February 2, 2009 I must admit I've grown on Howard Shore's music to the first Lord of the Rings. I have the album from the first movie, which is my favourite. Another good Soundtrack is the music from "Braveheart". All sweeping, uplifting stuff. tcoffeep
I actually have a record from the Lord of The Rings cartoon from back in the late 70's.............. I recently bought that cartoon on VHS. Fantasy is the celebration of what we no longer are: individuals certain of our meaningfulness in a meaningful world. The wish-fulfillment that distinguishes fantasy from other genres is not to be the all-conquering hero, but to live in a meaningful world. The fact that such worlds are enchanted worlds, worlds steeped in magic, simply demonstrates the severity of our contemporary crisis.Scott R. Bakker, Why Fantasy and Why Now?
