hi, i know this might sound obvious or not that important but make sure you update your dvd's firmware if its avaible. I found this hard to believe but i bought my toshiba laptop and it got cracking noise at some point while playing music. I could never thought it would turned out to be the firmware problem until i check with my toshiba driver update website. yeah, thought i have to return it to repair or something. The update's description was the exact problem i was having.The problem fixed right after the update.

yeah,in the disk management, you just have to right click on the hd then on format. Hope it works. By the way, nice laptop specs.

i think this should work. Right click on my computer-manage-disk management, your lost hard drive should be there-the one with 250g. Finally,you just have to format it to get it back again. Another way is gpart, really easy and free!

i usually use my usb flash drive for temporary files, however, every time i store a compress file i cannot open it later. I got error message" please insert last disk if multi-volume set". For those who knew the problem already, the usb drive already in my computer. Got an article on google from microsoft to solve the problem but it did not works. Told me to download a zip opener, i got 7zip an winrar but those canot open either. thank in advance.
