  1. Could be an activex issue. click tools>internet options>security>custom and enable activex and see if that works.
  2. Not sure I know what you mean. Screenshot please.
  3. I am not a pro, but I am a long way from home and have a briefcase. Can I assume you have checked your security settings since you uninstalled?
  4. I think things have changed, and people can now separate the soldier and the politics. I am in Pensacola now, and it was a big day here. Blue Angels and parade.
  5. Sounds like a registry problem. Might try uninstall from the control panel and download it again.
  6. That's a new one. I am sure it is always safe to delete a shortcut. As long as you have a registry backup, can't do any harm.
  7. Go to my computer>local disk C>documents and settings. Find the folder with your name on it, open and you will find the start folder. You can delete them from the start menu from there. A simpler way to manage is go to:http://www.konradp.com/products/autostart-and-process-viewer/ and download his little app. It is a nice tool.
  8. Cleaning is always a good idea, but 34 processes is not out of line. Agumon's suggestion is dead on the money! If you are after better performance, more ram is what you need. I went from 256 to 512, and sure enough, it was about twice as efficient!
  9. Open windows and applications in the cleaner and make sure you have checked the areas to clean. Welcome, and let us know.
  10. Beware of land mines in the roadway.
  11. Cap lock is not mine, but the guy that wrote the message. Did you think I copied it with the cap lock on?
  12. SUBJ//CG II MEF MARINE CORPS BIRTHDAY MESSAGE//RMKS/1. MARINES AND SAILORS OF II MEF, THE 229TH BIRTHDAY OF OUR BELOVED CORPS IS UPON US. OUR HERITAGE IS WARFIGHTING; WE SHALL NOT BACK AWAY FROM THAT! OVER THE PAST 229 YEARS WE'VE EARNED OUR NATION'S RESPECT AS WE HAVE PAID THE FULL PRICE OF FREEDOM WITH THE CURRENCY OF OUR CORPS' VERY BEST. THAT SACRIFICE CONTINUES THIS DAY. AS YOU PREPARE FOR YOUR CEREMONIES, I ASK YOU TO REMEMBER OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO ARE FORWARD DEPLOYED. THEY WILL BE CELEBRATING IN A DIFFERENT MANNER ALTOGETHER. IN THE TIME IT TAKES YOU TO READ THESE WORDS, MANY OF OUR FELLOW MARINES WILL HAVE BEEN ENGAGED IN HIGH INTENSITY COMBAT...SOME MAY WELL HAVE FALLEN. THINK ON THIS AS YOU CELEBRATE THIS YEAR...REMEMBER THEM AND TOAST THEM. TO MY MARINES AND SAILORS ON THE FRONT LINES...KNOW THAT YOU ARE OUR NATION'S TRUE HEROS. YOU ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF OUR COUNTRY AND SERVE AS ITS FINAL BASTION OF DEFENSE. WERE YOU NOT TO DEFEND HER, THEN WHO WOULD? THESE ARE TOUGH TIMES, BUT YOU ARE REMARKABLE AND MORE THAN A MATCH TO THE CHALLENGE. I PRAY THAT YOUR NOVEMBER 10TH IS MEMORABLE WHEREVER YOU ARE, AND I THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT SACRIFICE AND FIDELITY. GOD BLESS YOU AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEVIL DOGS. LTGEN JIM AMOS, CG II MEF SENDS. As good now as it was a year ago.

    sniper update

Great shooting. I once shot something almost that good in rapid fire with 5 rounds, and maggie's drawers with the rest. Still can't figure it out.My theory was they were in the same hole, but no one would buy it.
  14. HP pavilion M-50. Looks like it had speakers on the sides at one time.
  15. Now there's an idea. I.ll check that out.
  16. Sniper, check this out. Talk about a bad day.
  17. Bought an old monitor, works great. It has a yellow rca jack hanging where it connects to the computer. Does anyone know it's function?
  18. I am neither an expert or a power member, but I do know my butt from a flat rock. Should be safe to delete, however backup your registry just in case. Google "erunt" for a good registry backup. Before you delete, what are the system 32 entries?
  19. Read today that the new improved ms antispyware entry will be called windows defender. Hopefully, it will defend against windows.
  20. Go here and download restoration:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/restoration.html If you haven't written over them, they are still there. Good luck.
