  7. I think the 35 Gutman method is a file shredder. It will render the data unrecoverable {in theory} but will not delete the drive. Is the drive a partition ? A different drive? Please elaborate.

    how ?

The tags used to produce links are the <a> and </a>. The <a> tells where the link should start and the </a> indicates where the link ends. Everything between these two will work as a link. The target of the link is added to the <a> tag using the href="http://www.whateverpage.com" setting. The example below shows how to make the word here work as a link to yahoo. Click <a href="http://www.yahoo.com">here</a> to go to yahoo.
  9. I will have to look at that. I have a canon and the ink for it is out of sight.
  10. Sounds more like a click or tick than a squeak.I would check the hard drive for errors.
  11. Make sure you have the correct speed {or better}, and it will work . Make sure you match the ram chips {the same}. Anything more than 2x256 is a waste of money because of the processor. Being lazy, when I work on old laptops I use pc133 which has worked on all so far.
  12. I would uninstall the network card. reboot and update the driver. If that doesn't work, a new card is in order.
  13. I like the part in the demo that states "You can interact with the computer using only your fingers" Have I been missing some fun?
  14. might try control panel> add/remove> on the left side add windows components and determine if the explorer box is checked.
  15. I love rockets! Hi from an old guy.
  16. I am late as usual, but check this out:http://www.auditmypc.com/process/msmsgs.asp

  18. Was it a driver, super hero?
  19. I has a cat like that in Minnesota. A stay in the freezer did him a world of good, followed by removal of the dangles.
  20. Extend Send To... If you regularly use the same destinations for copying files, it?s worth making a permanent link for it. Open My Computer, then drive C. Open Documents and Settings, then open the folder which corresponds to your Windows XP user name. If Send To isn?t visible, you?ll need to enable Show Hidden Files in Tools -> Folder Options -> View. Find the drive or folder you want to select as a destination, then hold the right mouse button and drag it across to the Send To folder you already opened. Release the button, and select Create Shortcuts Here. Rename the new shortcut to something memorable , like: TEMP?
  21. I think I know her. From a sushi bar. Couldn 't tell where the knife was going next. BTW, what happened to Lorena Bobbitt? Guess she was just tired and retired?
  22. Bil Clinton, aka "slick willie" sent it to me.
