  1. Clearing the cache is "about" the same as doing it from the program. It's overwrite the data, it can be covered pretty nicely by programs.
  2. I was wondering that myself, I guess we will see. I just reformatted the other day and I only had 2 folders. It was just setup files, I cleaned them, and haven't had a problem yet.

  11. Actually I found it to be the other way around. Doom 3 was very limited on the engine. Quake 4 on the other hand... Outdoors, vehicles, new effects, and other stuff here and there. Quake 4 shows what the Doom 3 engine can really do and not just going from room to room that all looks the same.
  12. I finally beat Quake 4 after 4 days. Pretty good if I must say so, graphics and sound are awesome. They really did a good job using the Doom 3 engine.

  15. Did they say if it tasted good or not and how much did they eat up? Are they fill!?!? I don't know the exact reason, but drivers tend to conflict with other drivers every now and then. I don't recommend updating drivers unless you know for sure it will improve or fix performance in any manner. You can run into problems "like that one", if you keep updating your drivers all the time. On another note, it could also be how you are installing/updating the drivers. A few years ago, I wrote a big article on a news site about updating drivers. It was mainly for an ATI/VIA conflict that was happening a few years ago. But, really obtains to all drivers.
  16. Is it just the Control Panel or when you start Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer?
