so theoretically the service "Security Center" is unnecessary and you can switched off/deactivate it in
--> Systemsteuerung (System Control) --> Verwaltung (Administration) --> Dienste (Services)
+ you can also deactivate "Automatische Updates" (Automatic Updates)

there were still defragments a few movies ... "madam.secretary.s01e13..." and "inside.out..." despite of unticked files/movies...
a suggestion:
additional partition only for your movies and other private stuff? 100 - 200 gb?
for windows and progs on c:\ usually you dont need more as 80 - 100 gb
these kinds of problems on your operating system partition you will then no longer have...

i have used speccy on an
1.) system with intel pentium 4 3 GHz; 768 MB RAM (512 MB + 256 MB ) with XP Pro SP3 and 8600 GTS 512 MB and on another
2.) system with celeron 2,66 GHz; 1,25 GB RAM (1 GB + 256 MB ) with XP Home SP3 and onboard VGA with 64 MB shared
speccy shows for 1.) 1 GB RAM in summary 2.) 1 GB RAM in summary
should that be so?

I tried just disabling windows updates but it made that ugly red X appear in the tray.
its easy to make it so
--> start
--> control panel (system control)
--> Security Center
--> klick on the left side "Change alert settings in Security Center"
-->uncheck "automatic updates"
done
in german:
--> Start
--> Systemsteuerung
--> Sicherheitscenter
--> klicke auf der linken Seite "Warnungseinstellungen des Sicherheitscenters ändern"
--> entferne das Häkchen bei "automatische Updates"
fertig

how many files with this size have you on your HD?
i think your fragmentation is mainly caused by these large files (and Defraggler can not handle it well)
perhaps displace these movies on a USB stick or mobile Harddisk and after than look again how the fragmentation looks.
and after defragmentation you can copy your movies back on your hd. (i think with this procedure your fragmentation will be gone) -

the last version i know was 3.08 for "portableApps-USB-Sticks"
i have it on my stick with portableApps-Start-Menü
very unfortunate that Piriform has abolished this feature ...
ps: there is 1 alternative for USB sticks, which are equipped with "portableApps"

the available portable version is different from the version for "portableApps.com"
that's how an own mini(w)system, which starts at stick in the USB pen - its practical and comfortable

it is not absolutely necessary to perform Windows 10 reservation to use the free Windows 10 upgrade offer. The Windows 10 upgrade you get even without reservation from 29/07/2015. The then-to-use website to be announced.

yes, of course. should that not be so? links to topics in our forum, which appear important... links to other sites are undesirable?
as already written above ... I like reducing the number of links to 2 or 3. if it is usefull for overview. i would have liked to use this useful tool/feature and not without it.

since when one may put no links in the signature? who has decided so and where is it wrote?
--> links are not a privilege for administrators or moderators, but the higher access rights -officially to see right on the label below the profilimage for everyone.
--> there is no confusion between administrators, moderators or normal forum users (it is clearly visible on the label below the image and the pears-symbol with even repeated Title Heading in graphical form)
--> List of Administrators and Moderators is officially and easily seen
--> all the necessary restrictions are specified in the "Forum Rules"
--> nowhere is that I as a user may not contain any links (especially links in our own forum on important topics for me and perhaps for other users in order to find this quickly and easily)
--> each topic will disappear after a while from the public sector, unless it is pinned. The easiest way to find quickly most important topics are links. that's probably one reason of a smart Admin/Mod why the setting of links in the signature is explicid not prohibited.
--> none of my links was unnecessary or unimportant or without purpose -especially not for me.
