Specifying what to search for

perhaps set the installed av-services to "manually" and deactivate autostart... without internetconnection

restart --> if it works, without av :-) perhaps release this the file protection through the av

that will do not a lot of people, similar to the 99%. thats probably too much work. most will just use ccleaner and co.

yes, i have read above. i mean only the include-list in a ini-file, not all other settings

i have read in another thread that the av blocks ccleaner installer with google-setup-link-thing... (i dont know what av this was) thats why the "normal" ccleaner hangs

you need to check your Ccleaner's skip UAC task to solve the problem

 

i have try it with ccleaner 5.06 and its the same issue --> it doesnt work on my w8.1 64bit

supplement: i have looked there but on my reg is no ccleaner... only defraggler, recuva and speccy

 

but in hkey_local_machine->software->piriform  (there is ccleaner with all of piriform) but there is no "include" or so, only updatecheck
